Precious Peeps It’s Pits. ‘‘Twas a bit stormy yesterday. Not nearly as bad at home as it was thirty mile north.

Granny had a tearoom full of ladies when the tornado sirens went off.

Since the historic habitation is of a distinctive narrow elongated form aka shotgun style there is no “interior” room or rooms without windows.

The safest spot is the single downstairs restroom that has a small window that is shuttered on the inside. It’s very decorative!

So she warned the ladies that they’d take shelter there if things got worse.

They’d have been like sardines in there but fortunately the tornado didn’t materialize.

It’s good to have a plan though just in case

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect. I know I know so many posts in one week from one Perfect Pawson!!

Did you all realize yesterday was Lazy Day.

I did my best to comply but even when I’m relaxing I’m gnawing on something.

I learned that it takes a sloth one week to empty its stomach after a meal.

Aren’t they making pills that do that now.

Don’t ever try them. They’ll make you sluggish and sleepy.

If your hungry just grab a Nyla like me.

Keeps you sane and svelte.!

No lazy bones in me at all unlike a certain ugly Gizzard who just droops around.

Blessing #1790-Energized

We had a long line of storms come through last night. When you get to this time of year you expect them.

We should be so grateful that water came with the wind. When you see what happened in Maui you realize how awful wind and fire can be.

They are calling it apocalyptic. Thats a big word but it’s certainly super scary.

The winds have stopped now in Hawaii but so many people have lost everything.

With all that has gone on this year around the world we’re not complaining about being in Ohio!

Blessing#1789-Temperate

As The Thing explained I was beset by burrs yesterday. Nasty!

They are miserable little suckers and they burrow deep into the fur. Quite the opposite to the fine Calibrachoa that Ma snagged in the bargain bin at Walmart this spring.

They are like mini petunias. Ordinarily she would avoid petunias as dead heading them is too much work but these beauties dead head themselves. A good shake or shower and bingo the job is done.

From one $7 pot we now have three great big planters going.

Note to self for next year get these again.

They don’t have any scent but stick them with Auntie Denise’s lavender that’s on its second season and we’re in good shape.

Always good to have a little perfume around.

You never know what nasty smells you can encounter on a hot day.

Blessing#1788-Gardening Tips

Some beings are very demanding and high maintenance.

Others like me are easy going and Perfectly Precious Peeps.

The Gizz is so fuzzy with his food, needs grooming, is snarly you name it he’s trouble and terribly grumpy.

This morning he is in a particularly bad mood as he got burrs in his bum.

He insists on going into the bushes to do his business and this morning he got “Robin on the Hedge” all over himself.

Ma with great patience got most of it off him but some still reside in his tail and he’s baring the teeth when she pulls at them.

So as I said to her let them stay where they are. They may be the inspiration for Velcro with any luck they are also deadly and he’ll be gone soon.

Blessing#1787-Sticky Stufff

Wee storm came through about 4:45 so we’ve been lying here in bed stretching ever since. A really good stretch is so therapeutic!It’s just like getting ironed, smoothes away all the stiffness and makes you smily!!!

It’s pouring so there’s no rush to get up as the stinger in the next room will not be able to get out until the rain stops.

She thinks she’s smart but she’s stupid.

I’m so happy she sleeps somewhere else as I just love lying in bed doing nothing but snuggling and scrolling through Facebook.

You don’t even need an excuse for being lazy.

Since I’m so good at this I might award myself a doctorate but maybe I’m too young for that! I’ll need just a few more grey hairs.

Today my theme is perspectives.

Some People and Paws believe they are superior.

They see themselves as the great and the good.

There is hardly a week passes without a disaster at this wretched old building that Ma owns. Some dog kennels are sturdier!

I smelt it as soon as she got back home yesterday. That fuming face of hers!! Do I look compassionate enough?

See the AC unit in Paula’s boutique was leaking!

It came on all of a sudden. One minute the floor was dry the next there was a puddle.

Paula wasn’t there she was ironically at the lake. No need to make that trip girlfriend!

It happened at 2:30 so of course what to do but call the HVAC installers, turn off the AC and dry the floor.

No joy finding someone to fix it so today it will be toasty.

When do you call enough enough?
