Dear friends of the Emerald Isle guess what has happened on this Saint Patrick’s Day?

The Irish are including a likeness of me on their new passports!

Is that not an indication of forward thinking.

They must surely realize that when I’m in the White House this could have much economic benefit.

Without doubt I will consider positively their cases on any cause their having given this nod to my significance.

Blessing#2009-Go Green

When the storms rolled in on Thursday night we had no idea how close they’d come to home.

Ohio was badly hit especially a beautiful area called Indian Lake in Logan County. Some people lost their lives and many were injured and lost their homes.

The same storm ripped though Delaware County too where we live and it would seem that a tornado almost took out the Methodist Theological Seminary of Ohio!

Part of our road was closed because of fallen trees so Ma had to drive past the MTSO to get to work and she couldn’t believe how many of the huge trees in the grounds had been uprooted like tooth picks.

You never can tell where tornados touch down.

Best to always do as I do and listen to Dave Mazza on NBC4!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to get your weekend off to a smart start.

Yesterday was Pi Day and there were recipes all over the morning shows. Cakes, cookies, ice cream, spices, pizza, even apple pie whiskey.

Not a single mention though of Nylas.

Just goes to show how stupid humans are.

Don’t they know that with Nylas you can make Pi all you need are three.

I bet Archimedes had a Pitty where else would he have come up with Pi?

Work that out dear hearts. It will keep you chewing till Monday!

Sometimes you get so hungry you just gotta eat, even if it’s only kibble.

Such was the case this morning!

I knew Ma was not going to cave in and doctor it with bologna like Dad does as she is a tough old bird.

So I went to the pantry door to explain I was hungry and when she filled the bowl and gave it to me I ate it!

Not everything, just to make my point that it wasn’t ideal, but you know what I secretly enjoyed it.

Sometimes a little simplicity can be satisfying!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect with some philosophy.

Do not look far from home for pure perfection.

Some people go thousands of miles to find truffles or oysters or the best wines or cheeses but trust me dear devotees delights are on your doorstep.

All you need to do is walk your human for several miles until their feet are hot and sweaty and they feel exhausted.

When they remove their shoes and socks get torn in.

They will be happy with the massage and you will be happy and the salty sensation will be superb!

For a Princess I’m not so demanding don’t need Gucci just Granny!!!

We are a little late because the hour change messed with us and Dad had to sound the alarm to get us up to make the coffee.

When we did the drinks duty we opened the phone and found our daily message from Auntie Jackie.

Oh how true.

Humans definitely do better with dogs around to make sure they feel loved under all circumstances.

Truth be told dogs do better with humans around too.

Blessing#2003-Followers

Sunday is usually our day to rest when Ma and me have a good snuggle of an afternoon.

That didn’t happen yesterday. The stinking clocks sprang forward and Ma sprang out of bed at six that’s five in old time!

She rushed us round the block and then took off.

Didn’t reappear till dinner time!

Seems she had a big birthday party at the tearoom. Didn’t bring us back a single crumb of cake.

The plan was that we’d watch the Oscars but she was falling asleep before they got half way through so I took her to bed instead.

I might have been cross with her if the POOR THING wasn’t so jiggered.

Now we’ll be confused all week as to what day it is as we’re doing our Sunday today but who cares she’s home with me!

Blessing#1903-Monday Off

Yesterday Ma was all thrilled because when she looked at her speedometer the clock just turned over to 22000 miles.

She was able to get a photo of it too!

I don’t know why she has this obsession with round numbers but if it keeps her happy why worry.

Yesterday we also hit the 1400 wagging tail count so she was adding that to her score card.

Today Auntie Marsha turns over another trip around the sun on her clock too.

She is so sweet and kind to us so we hope she’ll go as far as Aretha.

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to ensure your Saturday is sunny even if it’s tipping it down outside and you are soaked.

I recognize the vast majority of my followers are male, since most females can’t come to terms with my exceptional elegance and intellect, but nonetheless some savvy sisters out there do have the sense to admire me.

To these wonderful women I turn now to ask did you have a good International Day?

Did you bestow bounty on the female brotherhood and perhaps take tea in a setting becoming your wisdom and womanly refinement or maybe bond around the nearest lamppost?

If not get lost. Girl worth knowing gotta give other girls all they got!!!!

Blessing#2001-Femine Force

We had just put the coffee on and sat down to watch the news when we got an email from the security system at the tearoom to say there had been a power outage.

Ma called the tenant in the apartment above and she said there was a power line down in the tearoom parking lot.

This was weird because it was very calm. No storms in sight.

Turns out the dumpster for the trash collection hit a tree branch that pulled down a power line but worse still this resulted in the entire overhead electric pole coming crashing down too.

The pole missed the building by a thread.

The whole place could have gone up in smoke.

Fortunately the power to the tearoom was restored in just one hour but the neighboring buildings were out till 4:30pm!

The parking lot was teeming with people from HASMAT and the electric company not to mention all their huge service vehicles

Can you imagine if this had happened with people around or cars in the parking lot.

Fortunately the party for the day was at 5:30 PM or there would have been total pandemonium!!

Talk about a close call!!! On our 2000 banter anniversary too!!!
