I am excessively fed up with Ma. She is spending way too much too much time at the tearoom and not nearly enough time managing my campaign.

Yesterday she combined her daily duties with a special event at the woman’s club.

Didn’t come home till dark.

What an opportunity I missed I could have worked on my future coin too.

Now how am I meant to make any impact if I can’t even leave the homestead. You have got to be seen to be heard!!! More importantly you gotta make your mark!!!!!!

She has promised that one of these days when it’s not too hot or not too cold she’ll take me to work with her.

That way at least I can do a little door to door and lamppost to lamppost communication.

The clock is ticking!

I am feeling particularly perky at present because it’s cooled down swiftly.

It’s great to be able to walk for miles without having my tongue tripping me up.

To be honest I’m confident I could take myself into town for some shopping and snacking but you know the old gal won’t let me roam alone.

If you have the chance to get out and about on your « Todd Sloan » take it.

I can’t think of anything sweeter than escaping from these ancients and of course from the pretentious Presidential candidate I have to endure.

Thank goodness all these swing states are surrounding Ohio or I’d never be able to get there. Ma is too tight to fund an air ticket!!

Secretly she likes to drive me around playing campaign manager!

Both my competitors were in Pennsylvania yesterday. It was wild cold so I decided to stay home and let them get on with it.

I do like a long trot but it’s not so pleasant when you’re freezing and Ma was baking so she wouldn’t take me.

Maybe they’ll both get pneumonia and then there will be no need to vote. I’ll be automatically instituted.

It’s warming up later in the week so I might hit Detroit.

I am pretty sure all those auto workers will love me especially when we lay down tools and « Rock Around the Clock »!!!!

Blessing#2223-Motown

Just three weeks left to make it to the White House.

Of course I know I can’t move in until January but I got to thinking about what I’ll need to pack.

I’m sure there will be no need for kibble as I’ll have a chef chopping up chicken for dinner and of course I’ll have bacon for breakfast.

As I don’t have a doggie bed and since I don’t wear clothes all I’ll need is my leash and collar.

I’m pretty sure the secret service will be delighted that I’m so low maintenance. The move should be over in a matter of minutes.

Oh but then if they allow me to bring Ma and Pa that’s a different kettle of fish.

Maybe I’ll just leave them here in Ohio. It’s about time I stood on my own four feet.

It could get a bit lonesome and cold during the night though. Do you think any of the staff would be around to snuggle up with?

Do you ever see something and wonder why you didn’t think of it yourself.

When I hit on this post with Ma this morning I was like « flip it we could have been billionaires »

Don’t you think it’s cute especially for sophisticated sorts like myself.

Of course you know who would want to be in on the act except she’d eat her adornments before you could say neckerchiefs.

Maybe I can do something similar for poop bags. Scooby’s Doo!!!

All the pals in Northern Ireland were posting spectacular pictures of the aurora on Thursday evening.

So Ma said « let’s see Scoob if we can pick up anything here »

We went out and pointed the iPhone north with flash off and what do you know we saw something.

Now granted this is not nearly as awesome as the heavens of the Emerald Isle but as Shauna, one of Ma’s school pals reflected « isn’t it amazing we are all witnessing the same cosmic delight across the globe »

Got me thinking of all the things we might be missing just because we haven’t looked.

Precious Peeps it’s your weekend warrior here to push you into a perfectly Pitty position.

I have been enjoying some beautiful autumn weather basking in the sun without baking to a crisp.

It is so cool in the morning that the old woman has to put coat and gloves on but it does spur her on to move a tad faster and further.

I am anticipating that shortly soup and stew will be back on the menu which is great because I get the tail end of carrots and celery to suck on.

The stinking Grey Gizzard isn’t keen on them so Granny gives them all to me.

That may explain why I’m so beautiful and he’s so ugly.

You gotta grab your veggies to be vivacious!!

If they won’t slip down smoothly slather on some ranch it helps. I leaned that from Grandpa.

Ma loves Cold Play. One of our walking songs is Viva la Vida so I’m not opposed to the group myself.

They were on Today on Tuesday so we all had to shut up so Ma could swoon over Chris Martin.

Personally I don’t see what she sees in him he reminds me of a mix between Prince Harry and Mark Zuckerberg. In the doggie world he’d be a Harryberg!!

He can sing though and tinkle the ivories quite well but for me what make the group so good is the drummer.

Will really is a CHAMPION!!!

The stinking Gizz thinks he’s highly intelligent we’ll get this, he has nothing on me.

I too read ancient history and let me tell you what I came across.

A dog skeleton found alongside two horses and a chariot.

Pals this Pitty knows that while my ancestors may well have been sharpening their teeth on small shoes the stupid Scooby’s were chasing moving vehicles.

Wouldn’t you think being run over would have made an impact but no dear friend the message didn’t get through.

Hopefully he’ll meet a similar fate soon.

You know the best thing about Autumn? Snuggles are sweeter when you wake up and it’s cold.

Each morning around six Ma gets her phone from the living room and we peruse the world from our warm bed.

I crunch up close and we turn the lights out so the only little bit of illumination is from the apple screen.

I could stay like this for hours except after a while it gets uncomfortable trying to hold on.

So I get her to get up in time to get the coffee on, take me out for the business and be back in time for the headlines on TODAY at seven.

Must go or we’ll be late.
