Ma had a melt down about midday yesterday. She was printing the certificates for her Kairos « Graduates » when the ink cartridge started to fail half way through the series of 36 and changed color from blue to pink. I kid you not!
Of course as soon as she changed the cartridge the whole series started over so she had doubles for some, pink for others and just so much waste which she hates.
I told she should have done them one at a time and not as a one button does it all but she wouldn’t listen.
Eventually they were done and dusted so we had lunch and then I took her for a TLC siesta.
It was another icky day so a good excuse to stay in and do nothing.
Eventually we resurfaced and made the bro one of his favorite dinners « Shepherds Pie »
He arrived in with a haul from the Amish store that included enough cold cuts to feed three dozen lumber jacks. He’s decided he’s making himself sandwiches instead of buying takeout at lunchtime.
He also brought us five pounds of milk chocolate buttons. I do love him even though he inflicted The THING on us. He’s so caring of our inability to eat regular chocolate.
