It’s been unbelievably mild here this winter. Hardly a frost and only one little snowfall.
Seems it’s the same in the Channel Islands where Ma’s mate Maggie lives. She posted a picture of a primerose already flowering in her garden yesterday.
It’s so pretty, usually you see them in April!
Ma fears for her daffodils that are sticking their green noses through our soil.
They will definitely be nuked if they get any further out as this is after all Ohio and we know for sure we are destined for the deep freeze before our spring flowers bloom.
It’s still a great feeling to realize we’ve made it to the end of December and that the days are already getting longer and warm days are round the corner. I just nose it’s coming
