Precious Peeps Pits Perfect here to get your weekend off to a hilarious start.
To be prepared for what I’ll recount please go now and get a clean pair of nickers as chances are you may need to change the ones you are wearing.
So here’s the deal. Granny returned from work and the stinky Gizz had been already fed. She ran to my chambers to release me and while I scoffed my meager ration she ran outside to water some plants.
When she returned she put on my harness and hollered for the Gizz.
Unusual he obeys her every command when it involves going out but he was nowhere to be found.
She checked his usual haunts went outside and screamed loud enough for him to get in that I thought my ears might burst. Nothing doing. The Gizz was gone.
I rubbed my paws together and then placed them in the pose of prayer and beseeched BIGPAW above that he would be swiftly run over by a truck.
Granny opened the trunk of the car and I jumped in and off we went to search for him.
We went to Auntie Denises first as he’s sweet on her, then to PJ and Eddies place since their his buds. Nothing doing.
We returned home and he was still missing so we went to see if he was at at his girlfriends. Again no luck.
I was smirking with glee at the prospect of being a single dog when we decided to go down onto the main road. He had not been squashed alas. We returned home via Remingtons and Granny was deciding on next steps.
She’d have to call in the troops.
By now 30 minutes had passed and he was still awol.
That’s when Granny had a brainwave. She opened our front door and started ringing the doorbell. Her rational was that if he was within earshot he’d be over in an instant to guard the ranch.
Sure enough a bark was heard.

She did it again and the barking resumed.
Now here is the deal dudes. Guess where he was?
In MY CHAMBER. He’d followed Granny there when she went to get me and got distracted by snacks Dad had left lying around and got closed in.
I thought I might die of disappointment that he wasn’t toast but then Granny felt sorry for him and took us both for a ride in the car to the playground.
