Wagging Tail-1606

Yesterday we lost a tree but it wasn’t in the storm it was that one that died during the drought. Adam and Amanda our farmer friends who also take care of our yard chopped it down.

It’s best to get it cleared as dead trees fall fast in winter storms.

The poor people further south have had many trees and power lines down not to mention all the flooding.

Ma said that on her way to work yesterday it was pouring when she saw a convoy of electrical equipment trucks heading to help.

Those linemen guys will have to drive for at least eight hours to reach the worst affected areas so they will be tired but their help is desperately needed to restore power.

In her short journey up Route 23 Ma said she saw at least fifty trucks. Certainly many more have been deployed.

That’s a great thing about the states they really are united in times of crisis.
