Ma subjected me to Sky News yesterday for prolonged periods because the new Labour Party Chancellor of the Exchequer was issuing her budget.
This is the first time the UK has had a lady in this position. There have been a few women Prime Ministers but never one in charge of the country’s cash.
Ma being very much in favor of gals in high places was delighted and we thought the plans were fair given the state of institutions such as the National Health Service.
At all costs we hope that this pioneering piece of a caring culture can be sustained.
