The big window at the business started leaking really bad so a bucket had to be hidden in a bed of towels in the middle of the beautiful holiday display Auntie Paula had put up.
The people who installed it inspected the problem and promised a free fix which was very kind of them and much appreciated but to do this they had to order a special piece of metal.
It hadn’t arrived by December 21 when the gals closed for the holidays.
When Ma went in on Friday a miracle had occurred. There was no water in the bucket yet it had rained a lot over Christmas.
She called the company and sure enough they had fixed it from the outside.
On Friday evening it poured again and yesterday Ma was holding her breath when she went in.
Not a drop of water to be seen.
Ma is still anxious so she and Dad are heading up to check today since it is once again tipping it out of the heavens.
Pray please that it’s holding up.
