You know when business is bad Ma has to comfort herself with thrifting.
So it was this week that she spent the time she’d ordinarily be washing dishes finding bargains at The Salvation Army’s store.
Now let me tell you what she found is a work of art. She even paid full price for it $7.99. Ma never pays full price!!!
It’s a gigantic Afghan blanket. Weighs exactly five pounds, that’s a lot of wool, is all hand done and never used.
Seriously the person who made this must have been crocheting for months. What patience and skill they had to make such a masterpiece.
You can only wonder why it ended up where it did.
Did no one love it?
Fortunately it’s found a good home now and Dad is grateful for the gift.
