Today if you’re a Brit like Ma you should be glued to the TV or present in person to watch Trooping the Colour ( please note we have adopted the proper English spelling for this occasion)!
We of course will have SKY news on and partake of our brekkie as the King does his thing.
This year he has a little competition for press coverage as there is a big parade happening this side of the pond too.
Officially it’s for a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the US Army.
It’s also the Presidents birthday!
Now this gets confusing because it really is the Presidents birthday but it’s not really the Kings birthday it’s his OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY.
Is it any wonder the world is in such a confusing state?
Really I feel totally jet lagged.
Fortunately though there is five hours difference between GMT and EST so we don’t need a split screen.
