Wagging Tail-1888

Last night we were watching Rick Stein. He was in Bangladesh and what he said hit home.

When you see the struggles that some endure with grace each day you should be grateful for what you’ve got.

Yet were not are we?

Take this morning as an example. We’re lying here in our nice warm bed in our big kennel about to get up to get a good brekkie but we’re already seething that we have to spend the day purging the piles of papers that has collected over the past fifteen years.

On that program last night we saw men and women manually removing stone from a lake and grading it in sieves into different weights.

They did that day after day for $2 a day.

I am going to remind Ma of this as she huffs and puffs. I going to tell her to put on U105 and listen to her favorite tunes and drink some of her favorite soda and pretend this is fun even if it isn’t.

We can always stop and have a siesta and snuggle a little too.

Like Mary Poppins we’re sure to find some “Element of Fun” if we dig deep enough!
