Yesterday was class. I got to ride in the car for FOUR hours.
There was a recall on the Bro’s vehicle so he had to get it checked at a dealership and the nearest was Columbus.
We had to be there by nine so we had to leave here at eight.
We thought it would be swift but they said it could take up to closing time at six if a fix was needed.
So rather than hanging around we decided to head home via the Chinese grocery where we stocked up on dumplings.
Ma had no sooner had lunch of about two kilos of bok choi than the dealership called the Bro to say his car was fine.
So back we all piled into ARETHA for the trip back.
When we recovered the Bros car he said he’d take Jaws with him so Ma and I went home alone.
It was sweet if a tad repetitive and brought a whole new meaning to been there done that!
