Yesterday I thought I’d never see the end of shopping.
Ma hit Aldi early as she said it was too cold to trot. When she came back with the usual weekly haul she said it was still too cold to trot. Bummer.
She ate a quick lunch then put the niece in her crate and took off with Dad. He had his annual appointment with the cardiologist but they were going to make the most of their trip to Columbus.
They hit Trader Joe’s, Patels Indian grocery and Dayou International for their Chinese needs.
Let me tell you it is insane the amount of snacks and exotic veggies and spices and fish and breads and of course dumplings that they purchased. How they managed to squeeze themselves into the car is beyond my comprehension.
Now there is not an ounce of space left in fridge or freezer. They even had to have dumplings for dinner just to make room!
Here’s the thing though they didn’t buy the niece or me a thing. That’s injustice! I’m miffed!!!
