Wagging Tail-2132

With all the fuss about groundhogs and Easter we forget to tell you about something extra cool that took place last week in Belfast.

As y’all must know Belfast is when Ma comes from so she follows all the news from HOME. It is also the city where the titanic was built.

On April 2nd 1912 the great vessel left the Harland and Wolff shipyard and sailed down Belfast Lough on her way to Southampton to pick up her first passenger.

In memory of this event someone had the great idea of simulating the spectacle using drones.

So it was that on April 2nd last week the harbor was flooded with the lights of the floating giant once more.

We only saw pictures but they’re so beautiful that we hope this will become an annual event so once we might see.

It’s a resurrection of sorts don’t you think.
