We are all hopeful that things are warming up. It was freezing at the beginning of the week and Ma doesn’t trot far with a frost.
These past few days though with the thermometer mounting she’s been really getting us our steps.
Last night after dinner she went even further and we all piled into the car to go the the locally famous Fred’s for ice-cream.
This is a little stall like shop found in one of the less upmarket areas of our town but it shines out bright and clean as a beacon of light.
There was a line of cars wrapped around the little place and people also outside waiting for their orders.
Fred didn’t disappoint. Ma and Pa had orange sherbet sundaes and the bro had come concoction made with Oreo cookies. The beautiful young lady who serves us asked if we’d like pup cups for the niece and me but the Bro declined on the basis it might result in a blood bath.

We learned that this ice-cream is so good that it didn’t melt even a tiny bit as we ate it in the way home. The portions are GIGANTIC!
Ma and the Bro managed to munch all of theirs but Dad was done before he reached half way.
This will definitely be a destination for us all this summer it truly is an awesome place.
