Precious Peeps it’s PITS here with KONG to whistle you into a wonderful weekend.
Granny was telling us that yesterday on BBC Radio Ulster she heard the old song “How much is that Doggy in the Window”
She said the line in the song “He can’t take a goldfish for a walk” really stood out to her for the first time because of our situation.
Of course we explained that it’s of no consequence to us that Kong can’t trot because he is still very fit with all his swimming. More importantly we share much more important things like poetry and a passion for food.
All in all we’re as happy as pigs in muck.
Unlike the lady in the doggy song we are not about to abandon each other and take off to California.
What a very strange song that is.
You could write a Ph.D thesis on it.
We won’t of course but we bet you’ll check it out this weekend and have some eye opening perspective by studying it line by line.
Just remember true love conquers all concerns
