You know Ma and me always follow the news from Northern Ireland well yesterday there was a story that caught our eye.
A cleric of the Church of Ireland Archdeacon Robert Miller has been appointed to be the new chaplain at The Chapel Royal Hampton Court Palace in London.
If you’ve never been there, like me, you must add this historic gem to your bucket list. Ma says it’s one of her favorite places in the whole wide world.
Just imagine walking down the aisle of the chapel where Henry Vlll once lived and all the Kings and Queens that came after him.
What a phenomenal place to work. Lucy Worsley the historian who does all the TV stories that we all love so much has her office there.
There must definitely be a vibe of Tudor times ahead for Rev Rob we can hear the lutes from here.
She had friends coming over who’d seen the new ranch when it was in the middle of renovations and were keen to see the finished work.
Ma dusted and swiftered and swept the deck and such before she went to work.
The friends had gone to the tearoom for lunch and when they’d finished and Ma did the dishes and closed up shop they all came home here.
As agreed Ma came in before the visitors to get me and the niece into the Bro’s room out of the way.
She almost had a fit when she walked in.
Dad was in the kitchen making my dinner. He’d chopped up some sausage and microwaved it with some of my kibble to make me a special treat.
The whole kitchen smelt like a pet food factory.
I thought Ma was going to blow a fuse. She had to explain that the house didn’t usually smell like this when she opened the door to let her friends in.
To me it was a divine odor but Ma is still huffing.
She says men don’t think. Well I do. I thought I want that good dinner and instead I get locked up!
Precious Peeps it’s me the PERFECT ONE here to whistle you into a wonderful weekend.
Yesterday I made an escape bid.

Granny went for our groceries because she said our fridge was like “Mother Hubbards Cupboard”.
When she came back she brought one load in and left the door to the back hall slightly ajar.
I saw my chance and sneaked out and you know what she didn’t even notice!
It was only when she went for the second bag and I didn’t come sniffing that she realized I’d gone.
Aren’t I smart.
Alas she is smarter! Not in the least pretty but smart!!!
She hollered “Oh Nala do you want to go car”. I was inspecting the neighbor back yard at the time but I believed her so when she opened the door I jumped in the trunk.
She closed it and said she’d be right back.
After a while when she’d put all the food for the week away she showed up with my leash, slung it round my neck and dragged me back into the house.
Bummer I could have been officially declare missing by now if I hadn’t listened to her plot.
Next time I’m heading off for an extended period to seek a handsome prince. I need a man in my life who doesn’t look like a piece of grey fluff.
In the meantime I’ll look for every opportunity to do a runner!!!
It pays to be actively seeking solutions to make your dreams come true as it keeps you fit and fab like me. Try it and have fun.
Be fabulous and I’ll keep up my good work of being the one and only Precious Princess!
