Sometimes I despair of Ma! She is always taking on more things instead of focusing on me.

Take today. She is rushing and fussing and getting her hair in a twist over wait for this the “Art I of Tea”

Inspired by the handiwork of Auntie Hema she is speaking at “The Marion Women’s Club Bruch and Tour” on this very subject.

Now I’ll grant you it may be good for promoting her business and she has plenty of material from pots to cups to books and needle craft but seriously I am more important.

Short trot it will be though and then the whole day spent working on collecting my presidential thoughts or watching Jaws clean the sofas.

Precious Peeps it’s once again a Petrified Princess posting.

Please Pitty this PITTY because I absolutely cannot take these monster storms any more.

When you are happily watching Pimple Popper and then the TV blurts out this high pitched beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and the ticker tape tells you the National weather service has issued a tornado warning for the next county Granny switches to Storm Team 4.

We then listen to the lovely Dave Massa as he tell us all to seek shelter and I’m like I got mine already handsome.

The grumpy grey Gizz on the other hand tries to bark the storm away. You should hear him. He is louder than the thunder and then Grandpa screams at him to shut up and it all gets way too noisy for me and I shake.

It’s just awful. When you see what tornadoes can do I may have to emigrate to Ireland where they only have gale force winds!!!!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits. I held off on publishing my perfect post until now to see if old Granny had any good news on her AC.

She’s still waiting at work for the tech to come. He passed by yesterday but didn’t have the part to fix it and was meant to come this afternoon but has still not turned up.

I fear the worst.

This morning she was in such a state I offered her my Nyla to chew.

She said I was kind but there were too many slobbers in it and they were all over my face too.

Hearing the S word the Grey Gizz jumped in and started cleaning me up. He’s such an old fussy.

He’s hateful. I have to watch him and the snacks like a hawk.

Hope Dad or Granny get back soon as I’m busting for a pee.

Keep praying for speedy repairs while we wait!!

Sometimes you really need a good joke. Well we can always count on cousin Krishna to deliver.

Often of a morning we wake up to find a funny from him.

Today he surpassed himself with this one he classed as “Corny

See we appreciated this because we didn’t get much sleep.

No thunder last night except in Ma’s head.

We found out last evening that the air conditioning unit has packed up in the apartment above the tearoom.

Ma’s been tossing and turning all night hoping it can be fixed. The technician is coming to inspect it this morning.

She says she is getting too old for all this drama and has already plenty to cope with!

I did my bounded duties and snuggled up as close as I could to provided her comfort.

I know this too will pass but it clean wears me out this worrying with her!

Terribly late on the old Banter in fact 24 hours late but if you don’t have juice you’re sunk!

Power went out in the storm on Sunday around ten in the evening and battery went flat while we were sleeping.

We were restored to the grid around three on Monday afternoon but the internet was totally Gaga.

We all got up at dawn on Monday as there was yet another storm that would wake the dead. We just wanted to be sure it woke the bro and of course we had to help him out! He held the garage door up while Ma drove his car out.

Fortunately we have gas for cooking so Ma was able to make coffee the old fashioned way otherwise she’d have had a headache.

We went for our walk as usual but then it got tiresome having no electricals so Ma nuked some weeds and folded laundry for the bro.

No baking could be done so we had a sleep.

It was really frustrating waiting for the internet to get sorted as we couldn’t do Netflix or Facebook or TV or or or.

We almost got so bored we looked into resorting to board games but instead we sat on the patio and watch the sun go down through the Canadian wildfire smog and went to bed.

You will be happy to hear we we back in business

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect.

Did you see the tenny? Amazing!

We just caught the very last game as Granny was busy at the tearoom but it was brilliant.

The players were both like me they have difficult names to pronounce. That’s why I prefer Princess!

I love tenny especially chasing the balls.

My friend Ruby leaves hers lying around her yard so sometimes I steal them and take them to the park but I always put them back.

I was so fired up by the fairy tale of this unseeded player winning the biggest match in the world that I’ve decided on taking on a man just like Martina did some years ago.

I could kill him if I wanted to but then who’d I play with except Dad!

Add to all this that the trophy was presented by a girl from the shires who is now the POW and you just gotta conclude that nothing I mean nothing is impossible in this little old world of ours.

Ma is as sick as a parrot.

She was out feeding her addiction for rummage sales yesterday before the tearoom even opened.

She got teacups that are understandable for her enterprise and a candy dish that would go down as useful at a stretch I suppose!

………but what the heck have paperweights to do with tea?

Food for her bunnies maybe.

It was one of those deals where you squeeze as much as possible into a bag for a fixed price.

Well trust me Ma is a professional at this endeavor. She even got a metal door stop in. It weighs about five pounds but it didn’t bust the bag!

Nothing though, not a single sausage for the rest of us.

She is a monster!

That’s why the people threw in a prayer for her too! She desperately needs them!!!!

When you see the the floods in Vermont and the fiery heat in the southern states you must admit that in Ohio we have lucked out so far this year.

It’s not cool but it’s tolerable for summer!

Of course we get the odd storm or as they refer to them here “pop-ups”. They help with the watering so make Ma happy.

It also transforms the Terror into a trembling wreak.

That gives me a good giggle and peace perfect peace!

I felt it in my bones as soon as I got up. This was going to be a BIG ONE.

Sure enough after our morning trot Ma uttered the blessed boom “let’s go”

Now if she gets out the phone to take selfies I know where I’m going; my groomers. We absolutely MUST do before and after shots.

Today the traffics was light so I got to do the shopping run with her first.

Once that was done Ma dropped me for my treatments and as you can see I’m now ready for the Presidential posters and Ma is a little flushed. Pop ins wore her out today!!!

I really don’t think I could look any better Thank you Top Knots!!
