I have finally worked it out. The Deer that frequent our field think they are dogs.

Take this one that is so audacious it plants itself right slap bang in the middle of the grass outside the kitchen window.

It then proceeds to sit chewing the cud if that’s what deer do until Ma takes it photo.

Quite honestly I don’t mind them visiting provided the beast doesn’t treat their turds like chocolate cover toffees because that causes all kinds of misfortune.

They really must have smelt the roses except we don’t have any so it must be the light hint of mint in the air. Goes well with lamb so why not be bad with venison either!!!!

Blessing#1741-Permanent Fixtures

Precious Peeps it’s your Perfect Princess once again.

I know Fathers Day is past but it’s never too late to pay tribute to the King in my life.

Last night at six o’clock, as soon as he returned from work, Ma made him go out with her on a mission of mercy.

This meant he didn’t get his dinner till close to eight so he was ravenous.

Yet he still shared with Grumpy and me.

He then gave me his usual snuggles

I just don’t know how to ever reward him for being such a great guy. Any ideas? Ties are out as he’s got about a million of Grandpa’s to choose from!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits. If I wasn’t so Perfect I might do some beauty treatments but as I am totally and 100% gorgeous all I need is the odd bath and my Nyla to keep my pearlies pearly. Just look at me glow!!!

Nonetheless being a girly girl I do keep my eye on the trends in the beauty industry of which I have reached the Pitty Pinacle.

There is a lot happening in the area of laser right now that Granny should try for her brown spots aka seborrheic keratosis. She has acquired these through years of sun worshiping. Fortunately they are only ugly not dangerous and I mention them only to impress you with my knowledge of dermatology!!

Really I don’t understand her as she doesn’t even attempt to hide them!

As for hair mine is sleek and superbly shiny but others around me are challenged. It pays for them to try out new looks. Sone certainly need all the help they can get especially on the campaign trail where hair is so often the subject of media focus.

Some runners though are just plain ugly there’s no help for them whatsoever!

On returning from our trot we happened to look up and discovered yet another critter has take up residence at our ranch.

This time it’s avian. Thank heavens it’s not another pit bull!!!!

Uncle Sandy, who knows more than most about birds, recons it’s and American Kestrel.

Imagine if it has a nest up there we could start a falconers business.

OK I concede we have been watching too many PBS documentaries on the Tudors.

Still we have it all in place to make this happen. We have the game and we have the hounds. Just shot me over a bow and arrow!

Today we are issuing a joint communique on the benefits of pet ownership in the aged.

See there is healthy aging and there is falling into decline.

A body is much like a house. If not cared for it looses tone!

Take this one currently on the market that has lost bits and pieces and has things growing where they shouldn’t.

Now our female human did just try to persuade our males that this could be taken on as a new project but they rejected her appeal said it was beyond repair.

We disagree with that argument because we see in her plan multiple trips to LOWES and the HOME DEPOT would be called for and that we would also be allowed to be participate in the project.

We feel that new activities in addition to regular exercise is vital to healthy aging.

Give us your opinions please. To flip it or not to flip it?

Have you heard all this talk about A.I. that the latest spam is an A.I. generated voice saying a family member is in danger. Seems the voices are so like the supposed person in need that people fall for it.

You just can’t be too careful.

My Dad screams at spam calls. We haven’t measured the impact on his blood pressure but it must be substantial as it tends to frighten the terror. She freezes on the spot!

My bro just ignores spam and laughs it off. He’s given up on convincing Dad he’s barking up the wrong tree shouting at them!

It depends on the day how Ma reacts. Sometimes she gets us to bark into the phone which is fun.

Who knows maybe one day A.I. will send a banter from me that I won’t have to write!

We boiled our first corn of the new season last night and it was yum. Well at least that’s what we were told as our humans ate it all.

It was a beautiful bright yellow and there’s a lot of that around right now.

I’m thinking it could work as my party color as blue and red are taken. You need a contrast though to make it stand out.

I got catatonically bored watching the news last night.

Even Ma is a better candidate than the current front runner. Except she’s a Brit so can’t stand (nothing to do with beer or fizz)!

I’m from Texas and living in Ohio so that gives me great credibility. More presidents came from Ohio than any other state.

Add to this that never ever in my entire life would I make a speech from a golf club. Give me a break such a tiny ball.

Gotta have at least a tennis size to score in this game even if today is your birthday!

Precious Peeps I’m feeling much more Perky because yesterday I had a full day of loving with my Granny. We cooked up a storm!! Homemade chicken tenders and chips! Yum! Here I am giving them the final quality control sniff before we put them in the oven.

The stinking Gizz was around too. He has to get his nose into everything but you gotta take the rough with the smoothie.

Before all that we did our baking and barking and then Granny got some plants for the yard. It’s rained for the first time in three weeks and she feels the drought is over.

She went searching for snapdragons but none were to be found so she got some supposedly Deer safe Mandevilla

They were on sale at Walmart for $2 so she got five and dibbled them in. Even if the Deer do devour them it’s not the loss of a town land.

They are toxic to dogs so I’ve been warned to « use as communication centers only and do not ingest »
