Precious Peeps are y’all ready for a wild weekend? I’m here to WIZZ you into a wonderful one.

Mine is starting early because my darling Dad is off work today. We’re going to hang out all day together and snooze and snack and snooze some more.

I love days like this. We get so much good rest and relaxation. He needs it because he’s been on nights and is on the 3:00-11:00 shift tomorrow.

Granny has her fashion show with auntie Paula so she’s been up since well before dawn making her specials.

The stinking Gizz was sniffing around her heals but I was good as gold and stayed in my chambers.

I hope you’re all feeling just as fine as me. Of course I know that no one can beat my smile or sassiness but you can try. give it that winsome look if your feeling far from fab.

Sleep and some good steak helps so eat up and take it easy and be just as precious and perfect as a Pitty Princess. Well nearly!

The aurora is back in our area. Auntie Denise saw it Tuesday but we didn’t as we were already in the land of nod.

Here’s her pic of the phenomenal phenomena!

It was meant to reappear around sunset Wednesday so we took a peak but nothing doing.

Guess you have to be willing to wait it out and you know Ma is not of a patient disposition.

It does seem that it’s paying us visits more often.

Some years ago it was one of those things you might have on your must do bucket list.

It’s like a Chanel purse. Once everyone has one they are no longer so widely sought after.

Well maybe not quite. I’d still be pleased if it showed up in my Christmas stocking as a trip to Iceland!

Precious Peeps it’s the PERFECT one here to heave you over the humpty.

Does your hill seem higher when you know you’ve got a lot to do?

Granny says hers does and she isn’t quite sure how she is going to make it to Sunday as she’s got so much packed into the next days.

I told her to take one paw and just put it in front of the other and step out and she’ll be just fine.

Of course I know she only has two paws to my four so that makes everything double trouble but still the principal is the same.

I also told her I’d help with the cleaning and gave her an excessively large slobbery kiss.

That’s when giant jaws come in handy.

Be like me wise and wonderful and I’ll speak to you on Friday.

In the meantime I’m blowing bonus bubbly kisses your way!!’

It’s way too early for the snowballs on my tootsies but it’s happened.

We were surprised the white stuff stuck on Sunday night but it did.

There are still leaves on the trees which is a bit crazy.

I don’t mind snow in small doses although it’s not conducive to long trots.

My preference is to look at it from the sofa or ideally the car.

For sure this won’t last and I’ve no doubt next week it will be tropical once again.

In the meantime a good excuse to hunker happily at home and test some more of Ma’s experiments. To date they have been delicious disasters!!

Cousin Krishna is a source of joy and wisdom in our lives.

Yesterday he brought to our attention that silent is an anagram of listen.

Ma says she’s doesn’t know how she didn’t know this but she just didn’t.

There are certainly many other ah-has knocking around us all the time but this particularly one makes you wonder is it just coincidence.

There is no doubt that to listen you have to shut your own trap unless of course you are talking to yourself.

For sure when it comes to engaging with the almighty the point is definitely a good one.

Speaking of which have you ever noticed that God and Dog is another anagram!

No coincidence there my friends it’s all about our loving, trusting and forgiving nature.

Next weekend is the annual FRIENDSGIVING Fashion and Lunch Event at the tearoom and Paula’s Posh Picks.

Ma is determined to come up with some new items in the next 48 hours!! We are her guinea pigs!

Now sometimes this is a good deal but it can also go south swiftly.

She’s trying to find fall themes with cranberries and sweet potatoes and apples and mushrooms and such so if you have any good recipes send them her way. QUICKLY!

Don’t trouble her with anything too complex or she might throw in the towel.

We’re especially interested in anything that is idiot proof.

If you don’t hear from me tomorrow you’ll know I choked on a ciabatta crouton!

Please help me survive this impending trauma!!!! It may last a few days!!!!

Ma says that there is a famous book about 1984 that no one ever dreamed might come true but today it’s looking likely.

BIG Brother is indeed watching and I don’t mean our Aaron.

Does it spook you out that one minute you are Googling “appetizers for thanksgiving” and the next thing you know your feed is full of them.

We get lots of doggie reels because we are a sucker for them but Ma gets mad when she gets things about shape wear and tummy tucks.

Do you think our phones can see us from less than flattering angles?

Maybe we need to see a new era when we get back to letter writing.

I could personalize my correspondence with a fine paw print.

It would all fit in so fine with the retro vibe at our tearoom.

Maybe I need to pass this thought on to Ma for some marketing magic.

What book has a very cosy vibe? Little Women? Cider with Rosie? You decide. We will copy as a counter to AI!

Blessing#2585-Literal Lessons

Precious Peeps it’s Pits here to whizz you into the weekend.

I intend to have a ball. Not a tennis or baseball but a formal dancing occasion.

Even if it’s in my dreams I’m getting dolled up. I might paint my toenails to match my collar.

My permanent little black dress will be smoothed to perfection and all slobbers will be removed from mon visage!

Do you think if I stared long enough at one of the many pumpkins around my neighborhood it might turn into a glass carriage?

Gals this is what y’all need to do DREAM BIG.

Trust me that even if all you get at the end of the day is a bowl kibble if you pretend it’s something straight out of Gordon Ramsay’s your endorphins will escalate.

Be like me; live in a Cinderella cloud cuckoo land and you’ll have hope in your heart.

Enjoy everything especially the entertaining extravaganza of bring a pal of a true PRINCESS!

There is something about this time of year that is awesome and that’s the sunrise and sunset.

There is also something ing that drives Ma and me nuts.

For some reason we hear Casey Jones tooting much louder as he rolls through town.

He is particularly powerful with his horn around midnight and on his return at 3:00 am!!!

We decided to share our frustration with Auntie Denise who dutifully listens each morning to all our troubles.

Being astute as can be Denise believes the issue is related to a matter of physics.

See it is currently much drier than spring or summer and so she postulates that the sound waves make it to our tiny ears much stronger than when they are buffered by humidity.

Make sense to me so we shall have to test the theory and see if next time it rains we hear the call as clearly.!!!

Yesterday I followed with interest the activities at Windsor.

My hunny bunny hero Sir David looked heavenly handsome in his new suit.

It was the first in the men’s line from his lovely LADY.

I’m a little jelly of her.

I’d like to find a hunk like him.

He’s so kind and good too. The new Lancelot!

This was definitely a good decision by his majesty.

They share a lot in common it would seem like chickens and compost and organic veggies.

I think they need a Pitty.
