Here in the USA it is the Labor Day weekend. That means people have Monday off.

Here in Ohio it’s even more of a happy time because THE BUCKS aka The Ohio State University football team start their season. They play Texas at midday.

There is fever pitch excitement all around.

Can’t say I’m particularly fussed.

I’m more of a tennis fan myself which reminds me there is also the US Open going on.

I think maybe I should get up now or I might miss something else like a Grand Prix or Manchester United playing Liverpool.

Whatever you’re doing enjoy and be sure to wear your red and grey like me!

Precious peeps it’s the PERFECT one here to project you into a wonderful weekend.

I am hopeful it will be calmer than the last.

A few outings would be OK but I’m not keen on being caged in ARETHA with that Grey Gizzard smell for too long.

A little trip or two to the trails would be just fine.

It’s great walking weather so I think if we get viewings we should pack up Grandpa and park him with his book by the lake or the river while we take the air.

Who knows I might meet some handsome hound who’d like to hitch up with me.

I’d prefer a big guy like an Alsacien or Saint Bernard as they’d be useful to do in the Gizz.

As my Granny often says “a girl can but dream”

Remember that my lovelies and be like me always upbeat and smiling and get out there and strut your stuff!!!

Blessing#2514-Promenades

Yesterday was “normal”.

When you’ve been used to crazy for a while “normal” feels so nice.

Ma went to the tearoom and Dad and I rested while Jaws was sleeping in her chamber.

I didn’t even mind that we had to watch Judge Judy. It felt so good to hear that familiar voice.

Ma reported back that they have started laying the floors in the new ranch and it looks like there are bits of cabinets in the garage ready to be assembled.

Still no takers on this place.

Keep us in your prayers please that soon the right people who need our space show up and snap us up quickly.

Precious Peeps it’s your one and only PERFECT PRINCESS here to heave you over the humpty.

I wish it to be known that my reputation is being jeopardized by a certain stinking piece of grey gunk!

He is like one of those big bits of dust that accumulate under large pieces of furniture only this fur ball breathes. Usually down my neck!!!

This world would benefit greatly from his extermination.

Did you hear what he said about my bit of fun with his stupid toy.

What middle aged mutt do you know who actually plays with toys.

He is feeble minded and stupid as a goose.

There I feel better.

Hope you like me can vent to your little heart is content with your legion of faithful followers.

Be like me outspoken and outstanding!!!

Blessing#2512-Weight Off Chest.

We had to get out of the house again for another viewing.

Since it was close to dinner time Ma said we’d go get fish and chips.

We picked up the humans yum yums and went to the big Metro park to eat them.

We tried to find a quiet spot but it was busy there so we just sat in the car while Ma and Pa dug in.

I enjoyed the share I was given but was amazed the niece refused to eat even the tiniest morsel.

Maybe it was the vinegar that put her off or maybe she is on hunger strike because of being squeezed in the trunk.

So far no offers please pray one come soon.

Blessing#2511-Long John Silver

Just slept like a little log all night long.

The trauma of yesterday amazingly did not have an impact.

What I hear you gasp.

It was tragic.

See Ma played fetch with me for ages again up at the new homestead.

We even let Jaws join in and she was starting to understand the rules.

Ma decided we need a break so she took to watering her plants and that was when it happened.

While her back was turned Jaws sneaked up on my toy and did what only she can do.

She shredded it in seconds. Stuffing everywhere!!!

Ma was MAD and Dad was MAD and I was MAD.

Don’t tell me that PIT did not understand.

Anyway the consequence is she gets no further access to my toys.

Ma and I will play this game like it’s tennis.

Blessing#2510-No Third Parties

I was totally exhausted last night.

I must have run ten miles playing fetch.

As you can see if you look closely all of us enjoyed our vacation day at the new ranch.

Today will be like Groundhog Day as we have to press repeat.

The Bro is not coming as he is coaching little league football so I’ll have to ride with the niece.

We’re getting McDonald’s for lunch which is great because I love their fries. Salty as myself!!!

Ma is not “encouraging” us to swim as she fears we may bring wet dog aroma back to the current residence and that doesn’t mix with Glade Plug-ins.

We can take it a little easier this morning as dust doesn’t accumulate in a day.

Blessing#2509-The Motley Crew

I’m on the banter early because you guessed it we gotta get cleaning. Viewings happening so we must get away.

The forecast is good for today so we’ll be able to soak up the sun on our very own deck by our very own pool at the new ranch.

Ma has promised to play fetch with me.

For some strange reason the niece is not interested in retrieving.

Maybe the Pitty JAWS were not designed for such soft skills.

We are going to have a picnic lunch as the only cooking instrument we have at the new kennel is a BBQ and we don’t have hot water to clean it. Ma has everything prepared at the tearoom for us so we just have to grab it!

The town where we are moving to is full of eating joints.

There’s everything you could possibly imagine except an Indian.

Maybe we could open one.

Spicy Daddy sure knows how to cook so he could supervise the operation.

We could call it Krishna’s Kitchen.

What do you think. I’m so entrepreneurial.

Take after my Ma don’t you know!!

Must crack on as we have to swifter the floors before we leave and spritz the surfaces too.

Blessing#2508-Out and About

Precious Peeps it’s your friendly little heroine here to welcome you to another wonderful weekend.

This one is going to be extra special for me and the Gizz because we get to go on road trips both Saturday and Sunday.

Yesterday was less spectacular as I spent from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the screened porch with the stinker.

See the carpets were being cleaned so we had to be sequestered.

They’re done now and the viewings are starting Saturday morning so that’s why we all have to vacate the home.

Sunday there’s another viewing plus the Open House so again we have to get off site.

We’re heading up to the new ranch to pass the time playing.

Let’s hope it’s sunny and funny. I’ll be able to stretch out on my favorite chair as Dad brought it up for me in his truck last weekend.

You just got to take every opportunity you can to make happiness happen.

Hope your weekend will be as absolutely awesome as me.
