Precious Peeps it’s PITS PERFECT here to whisk you into a wonderful weekend.

I am in particularly good humor because the Gizz looks like a goon.

He is shaved almost naked and looks like a giraffe all neck and legs and no head.

He really is out of proportion.

He also stinks of perfume like a proper peony.

Yesterday he was still recovering from the trauma of Wednesday so I was gracious enough to show him some moves and breathing exercises.

Today I’m not being so tolerant.

He is a pathetic piece of a puppy.

Not a pure bred like me who needs no grooming to look gorgeous.

Be like me peeps; perfect in every way.

You know that I needed a haircut. Well yesterday was the day for the chop.

Ma whisked me into the car at 8:45am and we raced to get her shopping as she had a full house at the tearoom.

She dropped me at the groomers at 10:10 am. This was five whole minutes ahead of schedule and she was feeling smart.

The place was full of other canines which stressed me out more than you can even dream.

It was a nightmare of barking of all sorts and sizes.

Finally, at 3:15pm Ma returned to collect me.

Of course I looked beautiful it’s me after all but things got worse.

Not one but two GIGANTIC thunderstorms on the way home.

I took a back seat. I’m not brave enough for shotgun under such circumstances.

I ask you dear reader just how much can a single canine bear!

Today I will do some yoga.

Precious Peeps it’s PITS!

I’m here as always to help you over the humpty with my tidings of comfort and joy!

That by the way was just a small hint that Christmas Eve is only 32 weeks away so get cracking on the shopping Granny!

Now some funny stuff has been going on in our yard.

Dad discovered it yesterday.

We have become an overnight mushroom farm.

These are not your usual fungi.

They are supersized giants.

Just take a look at the size of this specimen.

You could make an entire batch of vol au vents with it.

As we are not experts in this domain we decided not to stew it.

Who knows it may be entirely edible but then again it might do us all in.

So better safe than sorry.

We will just stick to Aldi for such provisions.

Did you know that Ma and Pa have just defined the 39th wedding anniversary as THE QUARTZ.

Some people buy gifts for each other. My parents buy countertop and back splash!!

Now here is the fifty million dollar question do we tile the back splash or run the quartz all the way up the wall for an extra $2000?

Please take a timely decision on this dear reader as there is a risk I may not sleep well for the next week if Ma is still tossing and turning on this critical point.

My feeling is bite the bullet and go full quartz ahead but you know she is a frugal femme fatale!!

HELP!!

Hopefully some of the rest of you who live in Ohio were up early enough to see the spectacular sunrise this morning.

This photo doesn’t even do it justice.

The colors were magnificent.

If I had time I’d google to get you the physics behind this work of wonder.

Instead I’ll just have forty winks before swinging into action for the week.

Hope this is the shape of things to come.

A very Happy Mother’s Day to my HUMOM and all you Mums out there reading this today !

Strangely it is not Mother’s Day in the UK they already celebrated in the middle of Lent. The origin of Mothering Sunday dates back to Medieval times and the days gone by when kids were sent off at a young age to work in stately homes.

Midway through Lent they were allowed their one day off for the entire year when they returned to their Mother Church and to go see their families and bring a gift of a rich Simnel fruit cake.

I am exceedingly grateful to my HUMOM that i get to spend every day with her and for all the snuggles she gives me even if they are at times a little too much for one so macho as me.

Screenshot

What I most appreciate are the daily trots she takes me on and the occasional spin in her emoji jalopy ARETHA.

Today I plan to be excessively kind to her and enjoy a very fine siesta and promise to be quiet when she’s watching Call the Midwife.

I might even smack her one on the lips

Sometimes you need a little God Wink just to let you know you’re on the right path.

If you have ever had a fixer upper you will know that it comes with its ups and downs and often the downs are more frequent.

So as Ma was being challenged with the sad fact that the deck was irreparable she happened on a joy.

Beneath her soon to be bedroom window she found a massive bed of Lily of the Valley in full bloom and flanked no less by masses of white lilac.

Thanks be to God!!

Precious Peeps it’s PITS here to wing you into a wonderful weekend.

What an exciting week we have had.

The election of the new Pope was so swift.

What a surprise too that he was as Bruce would sing “Born in the USA”

I know he spent a lot of time in Peru and probably knows some bears who eat marmalade sandwiches but isn’t it great that he’s from only six hours up the road.

Robert Francis Prevost is of French, Spanish and Italian origin. Granny worked with a guy called Prevost in France and is convinced they must be related.

All I know is he a polyglot and picked a corker of a Canine name. You can’t be bad if you have a lions heart and to boot he looks so kind and handsome. Bet he speaks Pitty too!!

I’m a bit miffed that the Bro got to go with Ma to the new ranch yesterday and I had to stay home.

He was working there on his day off cleaning the garage and getting ready to paint it.

I was told that it has rained so much the pool is about to overflow and the back yard is like a swap.

The yard is full of dandelions but can’t be cut because it’s so soggy.

Having heard all this I resigned myself to the fact that I was perhaps better off at home with Dad even if it’s still stinks of paint and varnish.

At least I got to have a good sleep in the warm rather than a roll in the muck!!
