So you recall what I was saying about the big guy nuking Ma well I was right.

She’d just arrived in the kitchen of the tearoom when it happened.

Now to set the scene this kitchen is the size of a good tablecloth. A three welled sink is a measure of its full length and it’s about six feet wide.

So Ma has a place for everything and everything must be in place.

So as she was unpacking her wares she turned abruptly as she was in a hurry and that’s when it happened.

She did her back in. Now she wasn’t lifting weights or stretching or bending she just turned and it went.

Of course she had to continue as parties were planned.

So see y’all be careful about being too smart for your own britches or the big boy will sap you too.

P.S. she is still walking to one side like a ninety year old so I am providing therapy!!!

When business is good you can’t wait to Monday to bake.

Ma has been cooking up a storm this week.

We were sconing on Thursday evening and yesterday morning we were up at 6:30 to fill the oven with shortbread.

Now I am not complaining because you know that the niece and Dad and me are always called upon for quality control.

I am happy to report that all was approved.

What would she do if we rejected the production?

Maybe I need to rethink this niceness!!

Last night was Lester Holt’s last on THE NIGHTLY NEWS!

We had to watch of course to look for the tears in his eyes as he signed off.

Ma was looking super smug for as you know she and I quite rightly identified his successor many moons ago. Like four years ago not days dear peeps if you check bank on BANTER.

It will as we predicted be the super young and sexy Tom Llamas.

I’m always a bit scared when Ma has that knowing “I told you so” look on her face because I fear the big guy up stairs may nuke her for being such a smart ass.

I’ll be looking for tripping hazard as we trot.

Precious Peeps it’s THE Perfect one here to project you into a fabulously wonderful weekend.

It may be wet and freezing and you might think that it’s still March but fear not the drooling weather will come soon.

It’s just a matter of being a Patient Pitty.

This is what I tell myself every time something doesn’t go quite to plan.

For one clothed in black vestments like me the heat is also not the most agreeable condition.

So it can take its time to warm up but enough of this rain please.

Hope where you are the sun is shining.

If not just read this again and be grateful you have one so precious and precocious as me in your circle.

Did you know that yesterday was International Banana Day?

We found out thanks to cousin Krishna who is smack bang in the middle of banana country in Tamil Nadu.

Dad did his usual lunch that included the famed fruit. He eats them everyday and is good at sharing.

I love them. They are sweet but not sugary and they give me a good vibration.

Did you know that the botanical name for the plantain plant is Musa Sapiens?

The fruit of the Wise Man!

Oh YES that’s why the two Krishna’s and me are mad about the mellow munchkins.

Precious Peeps it’s Pits here to help you over the humpty.

As you know the Grey Gizz has been playing detective.

The only thing is he’s kept his nose to the ground.

Being in possession of more than one brain cell I keep my head high and eyes to the sky.

So it was that I spied the likely originator of the egg.

A huge bird perched on our roof.

It looks like a buzzard to me

Hope it doesn’t swoop.

There is never a dull moment down here on the farm.

Hope you’re having some excitement wherever you may be!

Love you lots and we’ll talk at the weekend.

When Ma came home from work on Saturday one of our big stone planters had been tipped over.

These things are super heavy so it certainly wasn’t a case of “blowing in the wind”

If it had been hit by a vehicle or mower that would certainly have caused a dent.

When she went to put it back upright the whole story took on another dimension.

Buried in the soil was a large egg!

Now how on earth could that have happened

Where did the egg come from.

Had some big chick dropped it and then the planter got knocked over somehow or is someone playing a joke on us?

Amazingly the egg was not broken!!!

Ma put it close to the pot just in case some bird is looking for it and it was still safe when I inspected it on my sunrise sortie Sunday morning!

What to do now? Should we repot it?

Things are starting to heat up at the new ranch.

The rewiring has started. It will take three weeks and cost enough in snack money to feed a homeless dog shelter for ten years!!

I am concerned about my own future supply of MILKBONE. I may have to rely on Aunty Lori!!!

Ma has informed me she will have to start working Tuesday when we move to foot the bills for this adventure.

Seriously I don’t understand why we can’t be like any other people and just be content with what we have rather than chopping and changing all the time.

There! I’ve been grumpy.

Not sure if it made me feel better or worse. Probably stopped me biting someone!!!!

So Jaws thinks Moley is a man dog.

Ha!

She hasn’t a clue. Truly she is stupid.

Moley is a fine female and therefore it is me myself I that may make a proposal.

Screenshot

She is a bit young for me though.

If I were to pursue the new Princess in the Palace I’d also have to abandon Ma.

Since she is super stressed at present with the renovations and in need of my nightly snuggles maybe I shall stick around here.

There is no doubt though I’d make an excellent match!
