Precious Peeps PITS Perfect here to heave you over the humpty.

I’m into all things tech as it helps me connect with canine critters.

HOWEVER, I get spooked when I have messages pop up on Facebook just after I hear Granny talk about the concerned subject.

Take yesterday. Granny asked Grandpa if he wanted to go to Kroger or MEIJER after Tuesday morning group and within seconds looked what popped up!

I am certain big brother is listening to me.

Am I paranoid or just Pitty to the point

Yesterday, thanks to SKY news we were able to watch the entire Auschwitz Anniversary ceremony.

The testimonies of the survivors and the reflections of all the speakers were heartbreaking.

It was powerful to see so many leaders united to remember the atrocities that were uncovered at the liberation of that terrible place eighty years ago.

As one speaker said the world has not learned it’s lesson.

Another urged us to believe that the opposite of love is not hate it is indifference and as the King said in his speech the survivors may not be with us much longer it is now our duty to never forget!

Ma often finds inspiration in me.

This time I must confess it came from the niece and the Elizabethan Collar she had to wear when she dinged her toe.

The sweater that never made it to the fashion show has as you know inspired a few creations.

The latest is the greatest.

A never before seen item to add to ever wardrobe.

People who’ve seen it love it.

It’s a mix between scarf and sweater.

What should we call it?

A SWARF perhaps?

Find me a lawyer!

I am becoming increasingly concerned about my status as a stud.

Ma and Auntie Marsha are in cahoots to crochet me a cape. Trust me it’s not like Superman’s.

Uncle Jim is even in on it as he had to stand with my PawPal Libby Grace for a photo of the “model” garment.

I just know I will never live this down.

Who will ever take me seriously again if I have to parade around my pitch with this “gown” on.

Maybe I’ll run away.

No wait!!

Forget that it is way too cold to wander.

I listen to everything Auntie Denise and Ma talk about.

Yesterday as the niece was shivering while I did my jobs Auntie Denise suggested Ma knit the crit a coat.

I could barely contain myself.

She is just about the ugliest dog on the planet and if you add to that a vestige she would be a laughing stock.

It was at that moment, as I was doubled in two, I heard Ma say “I’ll need one for Scooby too!

Seems I’m going to the groomer next week.

Now that makes no sense to me at all but at least I’ll get a car ride.

Precious Peeps PITS here to project you into the weekend.

It is going to feel like summer because it’s only going to be -12C for the low and wait for it to +1C for the high.

I’m thinking my poor Pitty paws need a manicure after the trauma of this week.

Have you seen posts about dogs having their nails painted? It’s so cool and must be attractive to the opposite sex.

I’m sure Remington would find me even more Puppylicious if I was putting on my sassy streak.

It’s a tad expensive though.

Maybe he would pay for it for Valentines.

Must drop a few hints his way on the water hydrant.

Girls can but dream.

Be like me go for gold. Lots and lots of gold!

Dear reader don’t be confused.

My secretary got her numbers mixed up again. So we are now correctly on 1695.

The cold is impacting the blood circulation to her brain.

All the tiny capillaries in our paws have constricted to conserve heat loss.

I wish that it would warm up just enough to feel less like White Fang and more like Goofy.

Did you know though that it’s even cold at Disney.

Such weather calls for additional calories so I’m anxious to get some more milk bones.

If you would have elected me rather than The Donald I’d have made sure that every household had a supply.

Oh well there is always next time. I might be a geriatric by then but I guess that would be consistent.

Stay toasty and eat up.

Precious Peeps those living in Ohio may need an extra heave to make it over the humpty this week.

It’s a mere minus 20C or minus 23C if you factor in the wind chill so your paws may stick to the ground if you stay still for more than a few seconds.

I have become expert at off loading my business at speed but the stupid Gizz still needs time to swing into action.

Of course this means I have to hang around too until Granny gets the goop.

Poor old gals nose is the color of Rudolph’s.

She is brave though to go out in this as many’s another ancient would toss us onto the patio and not walk us at all.

Speaking of which it’s that time. I’m hopeful the stinking Gizz will get stuck to a letter box when his pee freezes and that he’ll die of hypothermia.

Talk soon tigers.

Loyal readers may recall that Ma started knitting a sweater in January 2024.

When it was finished she didn’t like it so ripped in out and started over.

She stopped knitting about April 2024 when TAKE 2 was half done.

Well she started this year by ripping out again.

Since then she has used the wool to make herself a scarf and matching mittens that have come very useful in the past few weeks and a tea cost that’s on sale at the shop.

Of course there is still a lot of opportunity left as one sweater calls for a lot of wool.

So it was that yesterday with us all being grounded another project took shape.

It’s a sort of sweater but this time for a baby. I think it’s the best outcome to date.

Lesson learned don’t settle with something that doesn’t make you happy there will always be something better that develops.

It’s going to be a hectic viewing day with the inauguration and then the big OSU game tonight.

We are going to walk as far as our tootsies will allow this morning as thereafter we will be grounded by the attic blast that is descending rapidly on us and two hundred million others in the USA.

I fear that the niece and me will need to resort to indoor circuit training.

It’s Martin Luther King Jr day as well so there won’t be any postman to bark at but I’m sure we’ll find something.

Do deer come out in this cold or do they all just huddle in a heap?

We shall see!
