Dad and I had such a great time yesterday watching football and swallowing some snacks.

Ohio State totally annihilated their opponents. We cheered.

Granny returned exhausted from her endeavors and did not even demand a change of channel.

She was so brain dead she just sat there and ate pizza and watched football. No Royals, romances or say yes to the dress in site.

She and the reclusive RUNT retired extra early but Dad and Gramps and I hung out till near midnight chomping cheerfully watching more games.

Life is so sweet as a singleton and so are those leftovers from the tearoom.

It’s me your very own Princess Pitty.

I am having such a ball. Granny is busy with a special fashion show and luncheon at the tearoom today so Dad is in charge.

This means I am the numéro uno in the kennel and the stinking Gizz is even more grumpy than Grandpa.

I will be indulging in plenty of Pringles and Popcorn during the big Ohio State game that kicks off at midday.

After that I may take a siesta but maybe I’ll just gather my strength for dinner and do a little deer spotting.

It’s so relaxing not having any trouble from the Grey Man. He is still under the weather following his defeat.

Just a pity he’s still breathing!

Joy of Joys the stinking Gizzard is in seclusion because he has to stay here in Ohio. No DC trips for him.

I love seeing him wallow in sorrow. He doesn’t even bother chasing me when I steal his Nyla.

I am having such fun being the little light in everyone’s life right now.

I’m so jolly and funny and filled with good cheer.

You’d think it was already Christmas.

That dear reader was a subtle hint to Dad that I’m expecting a gift of unparalleled price to reflect my importance in this kennel.

If you’re like me start making your list and checking it twice you never can be sure of the next time you’ll get lucky.

Blessing#2247-Naughty but Nice

I am gutted.

So disappointing that you didn’t get me to the White House.

I was ready to pack up my bones and start walking that way.

Instead consolation came from my besties who met me yesterday morning and we took a trot around the block.

It will take me some time to wrap my head around this and that it all came down to the price of bacon.

I am handing over to the niece for now and she will talk to you about nonsense while I’m lying low in my safe spot like a tortoise.

Yesterday was soooooooo long so even Granny got fed up with news and went to see a movie yesterday.

Ironically it was also about an election!

Not for a President but for a Pope.

She said she sat very close to the big screen in one of those sleeper recliners. That way you really feel the atmosphere.

The movie was good not awesome

Such a shame she didn’t take me.

Seems there’s lots of great movies coming up though that are right up my street; Paddington, Mufasa (aren’t we related?) and DOG MAN so maybe I’ll slim a little and slip into her purse.

The DAY has just DAWNED.

If you haven’t done so already rush to your nearest poling station and put your paw on my pic.

I’m making this easy for you.

No million dollar checks just a promise that henceforth you will have a President who loves you and will be waiting for you at the White House every evening.

Unless that is I am travelling to London or Paris or Delhi or Sydney anywhere there may be an opportunity to chow down on some good grub and smack some sense into this world!

You can tell when hoomans have birthdays because they eat and then they sleep.

Mine went out for lunch at the local Indian buffet. They ate enough for a small army and then came home and slept all afternoon.

Now that is not so bad as I got to snuggle with Ma and the Bro took the niece to their chambers.

Fortunately there was an incentive to awaken!!!

Auntie Hema sent a box full of homemade India snacks and sweets that miraculously appeared on our door step yesterday morning and Auntie Marsha and Uncle Jim sent a special whiskey and a book to tell its story.

We got Dad less exciting things like socks!!!

Blessing#2243-Bare Necessities

Dear reader today we must issue a joint memorandum.

It’s the birthday of the one and only Krishna Anantharaman aka as DAD aka GRANDPA.

Even though he hates us sometimes we always want to snuggle close to him.

He chops our bologna and gives us tacos. He cuts up cookies for us and yes he screams.

We are so glad that he is our oldest and greatest family member and we love him more that tongue can tell!!!

I nearly fainted when Ma showed me this just now.

“ Take a gander at this hound” she said

Man I thought I was looking in the mirror looks the spitting image of me especially after a trip to the groomer!

All that bull that the niece comes up with about being a Princess has nothing on me.

Dogs were Gods in Egypt and I just happen to be astonishingly akin to this one.

Can you imagine the treats my ancestors may have gnawed on.

Bet it was better than the grizzle I get today.

Where woolly mammoths still around back then? I could so wrap my chops around one of their leg bones.

Precious Peeps it’s Pis Perfect here to wish you a happy All Saints Day and Happy Diwali.

It’s most appropriate that I get to do this as I am as you know angelic.

We had lots of little munchkins pass by last evening for trick or treating.

The stinking Grey Gizz frightens the life out of everyone who comes close with his horrible barking.

Granny is always worried I might take off with them so she puts the candy on the porch telling them to help themselves.

I think that detracts from the fun but she says she can’t be chasing me in the dark.

Hope you had fun and managed to surf your broomstick beautiful just as I would do given half a chance.
