The Ditty in case you couldn’t see it

Precious Peeps it’s your very own angel here PITS PERFECT.
To get you in the mood for a wonderful weekend here is a little ditty I heard for the first time yesterday that could have been written just for me.
Angel of God my Guardian Dear to whom Gods love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide.
That is exactly what I do for my loved ones.

I am always watching out for them especially for my Dad who is my dearest friend.
It’s a powerful PITTY no one truly appreciates me!!
Blessing#2212-Chunky Cherubs

I am feeling so much better and am back to barking form.
It helped that Ma took me out for a little car ride on her day off.
It’s much more than exciting riding shotgun than having a siesta especially when the weather is not so stinking hot.
After my little hiccup in health I am reconsidering my campaign for the White House.
It may be too much for me although a three person race may just be what’s needed to turn things around and get people being polite to each other.
Must say the vice presidential debate was a step in the right direction. They were even civil to each other rather than at war.
Blessing#2211- Striding On
Precious Peeps Pits Perfect here to heave you happily over the humpty dumpty.
I was excessively impressed on my trot around the big circle yesterday by the scale of a certain piece of vegetation that had appeared in a neighboring yard.

This particular orange object was like none I’ve seen before. To say it has monster mash magic would be an understatement.
It’s as tall as the house.
What intrigues me is the plan for the plant.
Just in case it may be transformed into an edible arrangement I have decided to make friends with the hoomans in this house.
I believe this may just possibly have the potential to perk up a Pitty for the entire thanksgiving!
Blessing#2210-Pumpkin Pie Please
Poor Dad!
As y’all know he is not married to Martha Stewart.
Mom may be kind but she sometimes has little hiccups along the housewife highway.
Take yesterday as an example. She was trying to do scones and laundry in a rush as she had something happening related to the upcoming book sale at Church.
She bunged all the clothes in together and put them on a cold wash cycle.
Result?

Whites are now pink towels have taken a dusky hew and Dads polo shirt looks as though he has lipstick on his collar.
Oh well only real men wear pink!!
Blessing#2209-La Vie en Rose
I am slowly recovering now that Ma is home.
I am still not back to kibble but I have ingested a milk bone or two since you heard from me yesterday.

I feel so bad for all the peeps and their pets in the flood zone.
They don’t have water or electricity in many areas.
You can do without kibble for a while but ye olde Adams Ale is hard to go without.
Heart breaking.
Blessing#2208-Restoration
Yesterday we lost a tree but it wasn’t in the storm it was that one that died during the drought. Adam and Amanda our farmer friends who also take care of our yard chopped it down.
It’s best to get it cleared as dead trees fall fast in winter storms.

The poor people further south have had many trees and power lines down not to mention all the flooding.
Ma said that on her way to work yesterday it was pouring when she saw a convoy of electrical equipment trucks heading to help.
Those linemen guys will have to drive for at least eight hours to reach the worst affected areas so they will be tired but their help is desperately needed to restore power.
In her short journey up Route 23 Ma said she saw at least fifty trucks. Certainly many more have been deployed.
That’s a great thing about the states they really are united in times of crisis.
Blessing#2207-All Hands on Deck
Have y’all seen the images from Helene.
We know people who had severe damage to their homes in Florida and many reports from friends in Georgia and North Carolina of catastrophic consequences.
Floods of biblical proportions and huge trees crashing down but thankfully no one we know was hurt.

Mother Nature really can turn the tables in just a matter of hours.
Who would have thought that just a few days before Ma was sunning herself in this very same area.
Here in Ohio we got plenty of much needed rain that the farmers need to plump up the soybeans but so far no major problems.
I’ll still keep a look out now that I’m feeling more chipper and the grass is going greener.

Precious Peeps Pits Perfect here to project you into a wonderful weekend.
I know mine will be awesome because the stinking Gizz is still not speaking to me.
I gave him a good sniff yesterday and I’m convinced he is sick as a parrot.
He hardly ever barks and when he does it is high pitched like a puppy. All he does is lie under the table huffing.
Even Grandpa is going nuts with him and has only me to talk to.

I told Pops to chill and do some down dogs like me.
I think I am now the head honcho hound in this household. Maybe even the primary person.
It was well worth the three year wait to achieve such status.
