I’m having a Rodin moment reflecting on the ridiculousness of these past six weeks in congress. I know you all knows it too!

Finally a speaker has been pick from obscurity to appease the factions within one of only two parties that govern this country.

That’s why it is now abundantly clear that every land needs a third option at least to keep the political process on its toes.

This is no longer a dream it is the greatest chance the world has ever known for a canine to step in to that spot.

Only a hound dog like me can hope to herd this flock.

Blessing#1866-Shepherding

JAWS is such a lick.

She’s always sucking up to my Mom.

Thinks it will allow her to get a way with anything even eating her socks. Pity that it works too.

I admire Dad. He’s with me. He hates The Pit unconditionally.

You can be sure as soon as the Bro walks through the door of an evening he gives him an earful of her exploits that day.

I just sit back and smirk. Sometimes you just gotta let the facts speak for you.

Blessing#1865-Truth Talks

We are late today because we slept in until 7:30. Yikes that’s like midday for us.

It was light when we made it downstairs.

We’re at peak fall here now and the colors are beautiful. There is also a lot of hanky panky going on in our yard.

It’s rutting season and the young buck was out with no less than seven members of his harem yesterday afternoon.

The gals all took off but we got a pic of the man himself strutting his stuff.

A man after my own heart.

Blessing#1864-Heat

Precious Peeps It’s Pits AGAIN! This is a milestone moment as I’m turning a page.

See since Granny has been busy the stinking Gizz has gone to ground. He’s just a wimp without her.

She’s back now though so he’ll be trying to push me around again but I’m getting feisty.

For two years now I’ve let him win every battle in this household. It’s about time I showed him who’s THE PIT.

They don’t call me jaws for nothing.

If he wasn’t such a nightmare to live with we might even have a bit of fun or enter into joint ventures but that’s in his hands. Any nonsense and I’ll eat him.

Precious Peeps it’s Pits again. The Gizz is in a foul mood because he’s getting no attention.

He has to have his exercise to boost his serotonin otherwise he is nasty!

Dad is also starting to get a little edgy even though I try to tickle him!

Let us not even mention Grandpa. He is fit to send me to the Canine Collective.

I’ve had so many siestas I can’t sleep any more!

Please return Granny quickly this is not a good scene!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect.

Oh what joy!

Granny has gone to prison so Dad is taking care of me and the stinking Grey Gizz. Not sure he’s so happy about that part of the deal! The old stinker is hard work!!!!

Dad’s really short on the walks which is fine for me because it means lots more time in bed. We lie in late, eat a lot more than usual and then we go back for a long siesta.

Dad is my type of guy. I love to model everything he does. I’m thinking of a TAT like he has.

What should I write? Beautiful Bones?

Blessing#1861-Modelling

It’s hair-raisingly horrible how hateful it is to get up at 5:00AM

Dark and cold and damp to boot.

I’m strong though. Right in there to smack Ma one on the nose and tell her how much I love her. I cuddled up close all night too like a weighted blanket.

No matter what she looks like I tell her she’s divine.

It’s starting to rub off on her because now when she gets a spam call about Medicare she tells the people she’s 24!!

That’s what lots of love does for you.

Blessing#1860-Rejuvenation

Well the day has come for Kairos Team 54 to start their weekend at the Ohio Reformatory for Women.

There are many other weekends starting too. Most are in the USA but some are in South Africa and Australia.

Isn’t that amazing that this ministry is active as we speak all over the world.

Offer up a special little prayer for all those selected by the Chaplains in these places to be participants.

Think also of the niece and me as we will be in the hands of the bro for our sorties!!

Blessing#1859-Global Initiatives

Our new printer that the bro bought for Ma is getting a great workout.

Each time Ma thinks everything is the final version a new event happens and she has to redo. The equivalent of a marathon of paper must have been used by now.

Her nerves are a little frayed so to decompress at night before bed she has to watch her favorite movies and TV shows.

There is only so much of Escape to the Country or The Crown that even she can take so it was that we were subjected once more to Chariots of Fire.

If I hear that Vangelis music again I’m going to chase the nearest jogger till he faints.

Blessing#1858-Reruns

The colors are kinda fiery around here at present.

Lots of reds and oranges mixing in with the wood making things very cosy.

It’s a little chilly out so it’s tempting to snuggle under the covers but we gotta get going and see the leaves falling.

We did a little nature study just for you and brought some home. Funny how all the trees have different shapes hews. Why is that?

Maybe if I’m lucky I’ll get a ride out to the country for the peak before the corn is cut.
