Here’s a question for you. What’s the most frequent thing you wash that you don’t intend to?
For Ma it’s pooper bags because she has them in nearly every pocket. You should share how they come out if she send a whole roll through the machine.
For Dad it’s cough drops because he has those in every pocket too.
Now for the bro it can be a variety of things from credit cards to tools but what he’s best at doing is getting a nice oily black sock in with his white tees and towels.
Now most everything he has, that once was white, is a sort of color that matches me.
Dad is more than a little in love with Judge Judy. He is besotted by her.
We watch her ever day when Ma is at work.
Yesterday he had her on when Ma was working on her computer and the case was all about a dog so I listened in too.
This couple had divorced and they were disputing who should have the dog.
Judge Judy said at least five time that “I’m not going to cut it in two” which shocked me a little.
So I looked at Mom and she explained that long long long ago even before she was born King Solomon of Israel was faced with a similar dilemma.
Two women came to his court claiming they were both the mothers of the same child. After much rambling and debating Solomon said the only way to solve the issue was splitting the baby in two.
The false Mom agreed with him but the true Mom went into hysterics pleading with him to give the child to the other women as she could not face seeing her baby hurt.
That’s how he knew who was the real Mom and so he ruled ink her favor.
There are famous paintings all over the world about this and when Mom showed me this one it reminded me of a certain person!
They can split her in two anytime as far as I’m concerned.
Have you missed me? I felt all the luv you sent my way and thanks to that and plenty of rest my tootsie is no longer so tender.
I’m generally back to my usual activities but still on my meds for a few more days because once you start antibiotics you need to keep taking them till they’re done.
Granny started out my wrapping them in bologna but soon realized that I’d eat them anyway in a handful of dog food.
Yesterday I was amazed when Grandpa uttered an immortal endorsement of my goodness “that dog is the easiest we’ve ever had to feed”
At last he said something sweet about me! I knew eventually I’d win him around
With the days getting shorter and Ma having to leave early for Kairos we get to do a bit of star gazing of a morning.
Yesterday the moon had a beautiful halo around it. We tried our best to capture it although only special peeps like uncle Sandy ever get the moon just right.
It was kinda spooky and made me think that Halloween is just one month away.
I think I might just have my costume sorted for this year with the help of a little superglue and a few tennis balls.
There is a great advantage in having a niece whose nuked her trotter. I get to go out alone with Ma.
We have had a blissful few days admiring the leaves and kicking back. Ma enjoyed the peace and quiet too. We were able to watch all the critters doing their thing without having shoulders dislocated.
The THING is doing her utmost to be endearing even trying to type.
She shot herself in the foot last night though by eating her Elizabethan collar.
So Jaws got injured and got meds and a collar. Guess what I’ve got?
A heart murmur!!!
I didn’t have one last year when I went for my physical now I’ve got a level 2 out of score of 6!!!!!!
What changed? Well remember I got that tummy issue and Ma switched me to a gluten free diet. Well according to the vet there is a growing body of evidence that these diets are associated with heart issues in certain breeds.
Consequently I will be slowly returning to the grains. If they don’t cause tummy upsets then I’ll be eating yummy milk bones again.
In life you’ve got to take the rough with the smooth. I’m just hoping my little ticker doesn’t deteriorate as I really don’t want to have to take meds! Mummy has to watch me to make sure I’m not sleeping more than normal and do well on my walks.
