Well I know you didn’t sleep a wink wondering who Ma has her eyes on.

He’s a Brit and an actor and is currently on TV in a starring role as a Vet.

That’s an animal doctor not a former military person although he was that too!

He’s particularly fond of horses but I won’t hold that against him as he seems good with dogs too!

I’m sure we might have slipped you a few comments on him before.

Of course it’s Siegfried the absolutely ravishing Samuel West.

He has it all in the looks department the eyes the smile and the teeth.

Ma has a thing about teeth they have to be small and straight. Just like mine!!!

I nose you know that Dad has a thing for Judge Judy well Ma has her own secret sweethearts too.

I’ll tell you about her first today! He’s on CNN each Sunday at one and she drools over him while I drool over her salad.

He’s from India like Dad and Ma says that she loves his wonderful mind.

He is so eloquent and so smart and he’s kinda cute too!

Blessing#1968-Amour

The days are long enough now for a tiny trot when Ma gets home from work.

So it was that last evening we set off for a quick turn.

Guess what? We met Auntie Denise just by chance. Nothing was planned but at five PM we were heading for the park.

The niece and me were delighted. At this time of day this is rare as steak!!!

Ironic that just the day before our dear Auntie sent us some tips for walking our human!

Blessing#1967-Right Night

Ma wore her new sweater to work on Thursday. Auntie Paula said it was lovely and so did Dad.

Ma wasn’t happy with it though. The sleeves were too not right and she wasn’t keen on the length either it wasn’t “boxy”.

So go for it. Guess what she did?

After working all of January on the wretched weave she started ripping it out this morning. The niece tried to help and got an earful!

Having unwound one sleeve Ma took the rest to work and has it almost all unpicked and is ready to start over.

Now reader tell me is this woman sane!

Blessing#1966–Fresh Start

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to get your weekend off to a swell start.

That hateful beast that calls himself an uncle pretends to be busy taking care of our household.

What he neglects to tell you is that I’m working while he’s sleeping.

I bust my butt cleaning. Nothing superficial about my efforts I go deep into every crevice.

You have no idea how much muck that miserable matted mess that he dares to call a coat brings into my palace.

I earn every morsel I eat I can tell you.

Hope that the White House is ready to dig the dirt if he ever gets there. Of course that won’t happen who’d ever vote for such a stinker!!

One of my passions is peaking out the window.

I do it more than anything else except sleeping.

I see it as my personal responsibility to protect our ranch and make sure no running, biking or barking critters come anywhere close to Ma.

While I am busy the THING chews and chews and chews.

Now what value does that add to any pack?

Except perhaps should I need her, she might be able to take out any intruder at a snap with her finely chiseled choppers.

Diversification is the word of the day!

You have got to give it to Ma she will try almost anything to generate business.

The teapot thing sort of suits the concept the latest edition is somewhat questionable.

Yes my dear devotees that was what we were doing last evening making daffodils and pansy’s.

She almost had a fit when the niece took off with a finished daff and demolished it.

It was really funny but not nearly as crazy as this crochet.

Blessing#1963-Posies

Tad late on the Banter today. We didn’t get to bed until way past our usual time because Ma had to finish her latest “PROJECT”.

I am seriously concerned for her wellbeing

See she has started to crochet clothes for teapots.

Says they are very traditional and are called a COSY!!! Great fit for the tearoom!!!!

Heaven help me as she has a lot of wool left!

Blessing#1962-Vestments

We had such a nail biting game last night between the Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers.

Detroit were 17 ahead after the first half but the 49ers came back to win by just a few points.

We were roaring for the Lions as they’re on our doorstep and as well have never made it to the superbowl.

All the excitement meant Ma got her sweater finished.

It’s far from perfect!

The collar lies too low so needs a few extra rows and the arms would suit an orangutan so she’s debating whether to rip some off. That might be frustrating unpicking things so she may just roll them up.

Anyway I inspected things and still gave her a star for meeting her goal. You’ve got to encourage her. She’s a feeble minded soul.
