Well inevitably a New Year means a new get fit campaign for Ma.
We started well with porridge to which an apple was added as we are eating more fruits and veggies. Tick one!
We met Auntie Denise and then hooked up with my buddy Remy and his Mom and did double duty on our walk taking in the big and small loops. Tick two.
Inspired by a comment made by Auntie Denise Ma downed a large glass of still water. Tick three.

She then selected three paperback novels to sit in a strategic position to encourage reading. It’s good for the aging brain! Tick four
We then all took off for the Chinese grocery store. Full family outing! We stocked up on dumplings, spicy sauces and exotic veggies. I’m not sure how the dumplings fit in the fitness equation but heh ho. Tick five.
Ma made stir fried pea shoots and tofu for lunch. More fiber! Tick six! Not for me I’ll stick to grass.
Had a siesta! Essential part of the Mediterranean model! Tick seven
Did some reading rather than facebooking. Tick eight.
Made spring rolls from scratch as appetizers. More fiber. Did the dumplings and scoffed them too. Tick nine
Watched the football. Sport is fun and we all need that and especially good OSU had a big win. Tick ten
Watched some of the New Year concert from Vienna just to include a little culture. Tick eleven
Restricted ETOH consumption to two light beers. Tick twelve
