It’s the parents wedding anniversary. They have been married FORTY years! That’s Ruby if you’re into stones and 280 Dog Years.

That’s an awful long time.

Since they wed they have lived in nine different homes over three continents have one son and have had five dogs, two still very much alive and five fish one surviving!

So what are they doing for this big day you may ask!

Travel? They have enough air miles waiting to be used up that would take them around the world twice but when you’ve travelled a lot the thing they like best is staying home.

Buy Gifts? They have jewelry enough to put an emperor to shame that is rarely worn and more books and art than many museums!!!

Plant? Yes Ma is going to spend the day digging and sowing seeds so when things pop up she’ll be able to say those were planted to mark a special day!
