Good to her word Ma planted on the anniversary.
To make it fun she went shopping with a budget of $40 and managed to get quite the haul. Two azalea, some begonias and dianthus.
As some of you good people out there suggested the theme for the color was red. She mixed in some deep pink too as it’s somewhat like a ruby! Good contrast to go with that zebra grass she snagged at the yard sale last week.
I helped a lot by keeping Jaws under control and evens did some digging.
It was a glorious day and we got really dirty and then the good Lord stepped in and watered everything overnight.
