Wagging Tail-2194

Ma is a nutter. Yesterday it stormed all morning so she could not take us trotting lest we be struck by lightening so she went to yard sales instead.

She was ostensibly looking for teapots and teacups that she didn’t find but wasn’t deterred from continued searching.

She went deep into the local countryside. You can tell by the vehicle types she encountered.

She found an old lithograph and a biscuit tin before having to head to the tearoom to open up.

After the customers were gone and the dishes done she headed off again. This time she went south and only some miles off the highway to a village appropriately call “Prospect”.

The entire village was having yard sales but alas many of them had shut up shop by the time she arrived. Still she followed the signs like some treasure trail and this is where it gets very interesting.

Down a little lane she happened on a table outside a cute house where a sign read “Everything for Free Except the Table”

She found TEN items perfect for her tearoom paraphernalia and had to immediately bring them there to put on the shelves.

She was very happy when she got home but too tired to trot so I’m hopeful we’ll make that up momentarily.
