Sometimes, make that almost always, the Bro calls me Bartholomew. He says I look like an ancient sophisticate. That doesn’t bother me.
Ma on the other hand calls me all sorts of names some of which can be irritating.
There’s the abbreviated “Scoob” which OK and Scoobstar is tolerable but certain things like Chickpea and Fluffball get on my nerves.
The worst is Poochini it’s a derivative of Porcini that gourmets among you will recognize as a delectable Italian mushroom.
Just imagine being classed a fungi!!
How her mind comes up with these things is beyond me but I’m going to start calling her funny names too.
