A very happy Independence Day to y’all.
My secretary is in a great rush to get on the road and leave me INDÉPENDANT here at home.
I’m a tad miffed I can’t go but along with very many other things dogs are not allowed on The Mall today.
The drive to the hotel will take around seven and a half hours. That’s just the start of the adventure. The Bro and Ma then must find the nearest subway station and get into the capital itself.
No easy feat on a day such as this.
Let hope all goes OK the heat will be horrific but the fireworks will be fun.
I’m off now to take charge of this household.
