Precious Peeps it’s me the PERFECT ONE here to whistle you into a wonderful weekend.
Yesterday I made an escape bid.
Granny went for our groceries because she said our fridge was like “Mother Hubbards Cupboard”.
When she came back she brought one load in and left the door to the back hall slightly ajar.
I saw my chance and sneaked out and you know what she didn’t even notice!
It was only when she went for the second bag and I didn’t come sniffing that she realized I’d gone.
Aren’t I smart.
Alas she is smarter! Not in the least pretty but smart!!!
She hollered “Oh Nala do you want to go car”. I was inspecting the neighbor back yard at the time but I believed her so when she opened the door I jumped in the trunk.
She closed it and said she’d be right back.
After a while when she’d put all the food for the week away she showed up with my leash, slung it round my neck and dragged me back into the house.
Bummer I could have been officially declare missing by now if I hadn’t listened to her plot.
Next time I’m heading off for an extended period to seek a handsome prince. I need a man in my life who doesn’t look like a piece of grey fluff.
In the meantime I’ll look for every opportunity to do a runner!!!
