Well we needed it! The rain that is! We got a lot in a few hours! So much so we were on flood watch!
The downpours did a job on the Resurrection Lilies though. The poor things got battered to the ground.
Ma left them for a few hours to see if the fallen flamingos would rise up again but they didn’t.
So she cut a big bunch and brought them indoors.
You simple couldn’t let all that beauty so to waste. You gotta take what you get!
