Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to tell you all about an adventure I had on Tuesday.

See it was like summer outside and Granny was in a good mood so after our naps she said the immortal words « let’s go car »

Of course I immediately assumed we were off to the river bluffs but no.

Guess what? For the first time in my life she took me downtown with her and Scooby.

Now our downtown is hardly manhattan but it has jewels and posh purses and antiques and knick knacks and a plethora of fine dining options.

I was beside myself with excitement and almost dislocated Granny’s shoulder but man was it exciting and fun.

I always knew I was a gal for the good times.

Bring it on Granny and I promise I’ll be a good a gold next time especially if we leave Scooby with Grandpa!!!!!

From clear skies and a full moon spotlight to the flashing lights of severe thunderstorms we get all sorts of heavenly pyrotechnics in these parts during the night.

The storms didn’t bother me too much and it was only this morning Ma and Me learned that the tornado sirens were sounding.

Seems there was a touch down about forty miles from here where some of our pals live.

So dear friends stay safe and put your shorts in the laundry because the 70s (20C) of yesterday will be replaced by the 20s (-6C) again tonight.

Variety they say is the spice of life.

My recommendation for today indoor games again.

There is one thing harder than kibble my Mother’s oat cakes.

She made a trial run for her Irish extravaganza that is coming up at the tearoom in Saint Patrick’s Day.

I can attest to the fact that they should be called Rock Cakes instead.

Of course I humor her by pretending I’m interested in them but she better get cracking on refining her recipe or there will be trouble ahead.

Strangely she seem to like them herself. Maybe she was a nutcracker in a previous life!

Did you see the full moon this morning?

It’s been doing the rounds of our house and driving us nuts but it’s pretty.

Brings out the werewolf in me.

It’s all that I can do to get an hours shuteye.

Talk about being in the spotlight!

I suppose I better get used to it with the election getting closer.

This may not be the most flattering photo but it probably will appeal to those who are looking for a spokesperson for sanity.

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to wish you all a swell Sunday.

I was touched beyond words to see the King in this photograph.

To have chosen this card clearly demonstrates he is a man of great wisdom and compassion and clearly a lover of the canine community.

I hated having to wear that collar when I hurt my foot.

I do hope his treatment is going well and not putting him off his kibble.

Imagine being his doggy!

Not only would you live in a palace you’d also get rides in the helicopter twice a week to-ing and fro-ing from London to Sandringham.

Bet he doesn’t have a Pitty. Wonder how you’d go about getting adopted by Royalty!

Here is some Saturday Scooby Sense for you.

The internet is teaming with recipes on how to use up overripe bananas.

You take two or three bananas that cost approximately thirty cents and to this you add a half pound of butter, a pound of “always organic” oats, perhaps a little almond flour if you are a gluten free person two large eggs, the best maple syrup you can source, a half bag of chocolate chips and voila my dears you have banana muffins.

Now THINK!

In order to salvage those two little stinkers you have spent roughly the equivalent of a full box of Fyffes.

Have some wit my dears and smash them up on a piece of toast and share with your favorite companion instead.

Sometimes when I accidentally on purpose injure the PIT I start to worry.

I’m not worrying about her but I’m worrying about what Ma and Dad might think of me and the consequences.

I couldn’t care less if the hound hit the dust but if Ma stopped loving me there may be no more walks and if Dad got cross he might cut out the bologna.

Maybe I should stop keeping the THING in check. It’s impacting my mental health!!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here PROTESTING!

That stinker Scooby wounded me again.

I was wondering home with him and Granny when we happened on my beau Remi and his Mom.

His Mom like all other peeps loves me because I’m so adorable.

Anyway she was petting me and giving me a good loving when the Gizzard got Green and pounced on me.

He clean near took my eye out.

I hate him and I know he hates me.

There is no escape for him though as all he did was seen my many and he should be imprisoned!!

Boycott him dear followers and petition the police to arrest him.

Yesterday was “Love Your Pet Day”! Sometimes you have to ask yourself why?

Well maybe if you have a pet like the PIT it’s worth it. Who could possibly love that.

Now if on the other hand you happen to have the fortune to have a fellow like me it is unnecessary.

I am adorable always! ALWAYS

When we went to the park yesterday the sun was splitting the sky but it was oh so cold.

Most of the geese and birds were at the edge of the pond but one dude was making his way stoically across the ice.

Auntie Denise got some great pics of the brave bird.

Ma said it was ironic that this weeks chapter from the Lenten study was about Jesus walking on water.

Henceforth this dude will be called Pete!! He’s got the feet!!!!
