Booming Banter

I was totally mortified yesterday morning.

Auntie Denise, Ma, myself and IT were galloping along when we happened on Bo and his Mom.

Bo is the giant Bernadoodle who lives at the top of our subdivision. To say he is aloof is an understatement.

He saunters along unleashed beside his human and, in addition to his impeccable behavior, is well known for being extremely handsome and exceptionally well groomed.

Well of course the THING tries to kiss him which he just about tolerates and moves on majestically head held high.

So his Mom being a kind and gentle soul tries to make amends to the BEAST. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out treats.

Of course Bo being Bo knows these treats are of the highest quality my guess is they may be caviar but he ignores this. Thats when the THING takes a dive. She literally tried to get into the pocket of Bo’s dear Mama.

I was beside myself with anger and was called upon to intervene and bring IT back in line.

They will never walk with me again.

I’m so mad because they’re so influential!!!! I was counting on them to be major sponsors of my campaign!!!!

Blessing#1976-Authority

There are many sleepy heads in the USA this morning as the Super Bowl went to extra time.

By the skin of their teeth and in the very last minute the Chiefs won.

Taylor must be happy! Bet she didn’t bite her nails though!!

Ma and me went to bed at half time as Ma was recovering from her Galentines extravaganzas at the weekend.

That’s why we’re a little late on the banter we had to wait until the morning news to hear the results.

So we are feeling well rested and ready to roll.

Unlike a certain Princess who stayed up and is still snoring!

Blessing#1975-Chief Choices

Did you all have a good start to the Chinese New Year?

Ma made noodles as it’s traditional to have them. They’re auspicious!!! They symbolize longevity!!! Hope it doesn’t matter that ours were instant!!!!

She also made Kung Pao Pork that was much more interesting. I don’t quite know what that’s meant to do for you but it sure smelt good.

It’s the year of the dragon which is the Bros zodiac sign.

According to Auntie Tjin when it’s your year you have to wear red underwear to fend off the spirits that will try to steal your good fortune.

The bro better invest in some new boxers as he only has two red pairs and since he only does his laundry once a week and since the niece is partial to eating these items that could cause issues!

Precious Peeps it’s Pits Perfect here to perk up your weekend and make you as magnificent and as happy as me!

Dad bought me a beautiful new white Nyla as I’d reduced the one Auntie Denise got me at Christmas to a stump and it had to be disposed of lest I swallow it intact!

Dad is so kind to me and for some reason to the stinky Gizz too as he got him one also.

Of course the Gizz is greedy and wants them both so it has created a fearful friction and some fierce fighting that is doing Granny’s head in.

Even she took my side last night and screamed at Scooby.

I just love it when that happens!

Don’t you feel so good when someone get their comeuppance!

You get a certain kinda smile that starts deep in your brain and locks your back teeth together and makes your eyes go pointy!!!

Oh and of course you feel it all the way to your bones!!!!!

I saw Ma looking at this post yesterday morning coincidentally just before we took the trash out.

The prospect of her being guzzled up with the garbage kinda scared me!

Who would take me for walks?

Who would I sleep with? Heaven forbid the hateful hussy that is my niece!

Worse who would cook the dinner and let me have the best little bits that fall by the wayside!

There again maybe we’d get takeout that might be tasty!

Well I know you didn’t sleep a wink wondering who Ma has her eyes on.

He’s a Brit and an actor and is currently on TV in a starring role as a Vet.

That’s an animal doctor not a former military person although he was that too!

He’s particularly fond of horses but I won’t hold that against him as he seems good with dogs too!

I’m sure we might have slipped you a few comments on him before.

Of course it’s Siegfried the absolutely ravishing Samuel West.

He has it all in the looks department the eyes the smile and the teeth.

Ma has a thing about teeth they have to be small and straight. Just like mine!!!

I nose you know that Dad has a thing for Judge Judy well Ma has her own secret sweethearts too.

I’ll tell you about her first today! He’s on CNN each Sunday at one and she drools over him while I drool over her salad.

He’s from India like Dad and Ma says that she loves his wonderful mind.

He is so eloquent and so smart and he’s kinda cute too!

The days are long enough now for a tiny trot when Ma gets home from work.

So it was that last evening we set off for a quick turn.

Guess what? We met Auntie Denise just by chance. Nothing was planned but at five PM we were heading for the park.

The niece and me were delighted. At this time of day this is rare as steak!!!

Ironic that just the day before our dear Auntie sent us some tips for walking our human!
