Greeting Passionate Peeps. I’m keeping a low Pitty profile this morning.

I was overly attentive when my Great Uncle Dave came for dinner last evening and inadvertently cut his hand with my fang.

See I was just trying to lick his ear and his hand got in the way. It is a small scratch but still better not annoy Grandpa any further as he wants to send me to the pound!

I need to keep chewing to keep my nervous energy in check!

Granny was out just now putting up the Halloween decor. There’s lots of bones in those skeletons.

They would keep me entertained for hours well maybe minutes since they’re made of plastic not Nyla.

Maybe I need to work on soft toys!

The new Queen has cleaned up all the Paddington bears that were left at memorials for the late Queen. She’s giving them to Barnado’s children homes.

Just thinking if she had any leftovers or unusables I’d be happy to help her shred them.

Perhaps broomsticks would be a better option. Should be plenty around soon!

All the humans are oohing and ahhing about the beauty of the colors this Fall.

Honestly I don’t get it. Maybe something to do with my rods and cones. I can smell that lavender though! Powerful perfume!!!

Regardless and briefly according to Ma we are surrounded by reds and oranges deep purples and rusts.

In the yard in our pots and on the roads and highways.

Everywhere you turn you see that when the climatic conditions are just right you get the glory.

Ma went clean off her rocker yesterday morning. Hauled in a whole heap of plants to save them from the predicted frost.

Every autumn she brings in the herbs that have been outside since spring. Anyone in their right mind would trash them. Not her. The parsley has been going for three years. In fact it’s gone to seed but she’s going to make pesto with the shot bits. There is not another dog in the world that has to put up with as much nonsense as me.

I mean what the heck a bunch of parsley cost a dollar. Same for the spring onions. OK I understand the rosemary. That can get a tad expensive and might impinge on my snack budget. Keep that if you must!

This year though she has taken this “I grew it so I’ll keep it” nonsense to a whole new level.

She’s bringing in the annuals.

Inspired by the petunias she cut back for the second time this year that are now looking healthy again she’s also bringing in the impatients.

Says her Granny Gibson kept them all year round so she’s doing an experiment. They are destined to join the poinsettias that other people jettison after Christmas but oh no not Ma. Our eldest is now ten!!!!

The impatiens are everywhere in the kitchen, bathroom and the hall because she has to see where they like it best!! Pray they die soon!!!

Only consolation I have is that PITs may eat them if she gets a chance.a

That might just do her in.

Is parsley seed toxic? Maybe I can get rid of everyone and just live here in peace by myself!

I’m the most loyal beast in the world.

Each day as she heads out I stand at the garage door and wave Ma off. When she returns I’m behind that door waiting to great her.

How does she repay me?

Books a trip to go away for a whole week next year with the bro.

She was so excited yesterday morning that she was going to London for the Kings Coronation that she almost had a seizure.

She’s delighted to be flying VIRGIN direct from Detroit to the big smoke. No connection to deal with!

She’s almost as excited about getting back on VIRGIN as she is about the coronation.

Before me when they all lived in Shanghai they were frequent fliers. Sir Richard use to send her mighty gifts at Christmas like a day at the Banyan Tree Spa!

She also had a haul of his unused purple pyjamas from all their trips that she gave to homeless people a few winters ago. She hasn’t put foot on one of their flights since they moved from China.

She’s hoping in recognition of her return they’ll bump her and the bro up to UPPER CLASS!

Sounds regal doesn’t it! In the meantime the bro and her will enjoy the back row middle seat on points!

Ma and me were sound asleep when about 11:15 there was a crack of thunder that made the house shake. This huge storm was rolling through.

It could have given life to Frankenstein! Instead it got Dad up and the bro too.

The bro decided he was going to clean his room. Like a vampire he does his best work after dark.

Ma and me went back to sleep although I must say I felt rather wolffish.

This morning the sky is cleaning fast.

Ma had to take a few photos of the moon. She and me are so attached to its beauty.

Think I look just perfect in my costume for Halloween as for Mom she’s definitely got what it takes for hers.

Precious Public it’s your Princess again. Today I’m something of a Poor Pity Me Pitty!

Remember that Elizabethan collar the Gizz had to wear when he got his injury? Well the humans are trying to impose it on me now!

Gizz is jealous. Thinks I’m stealing it.

No way!

The thing gives me the creeps and I become catatonic when they put it on me so eventually within five minutes they have to cave in and take it off.

See the problem is I have a thing growing on my rear left.

It started growing around the time Gizz got run over. It was nothing to do with sympathy for him.

When I went for my check up at the vet he said it was most likely a ganglion cyst and should disappear in a few weeks. If it got bigger I was to come back for a biopsy in four weeks. We measured it to be 1cm and took a picture that day.

It’s not disappearing, it’s getting bigger. Licking it doesn’t make it better.

Can you all send positive vibes my way that a minor miracle happens and that it disappears within the next two weeks.

In the meantime I’m being given all the attention I so deserve!

PITS Perfect here. I know you’ve missed me. Not half as much though as I’ve missed my Granny.

My Dad is great for snuggling up with in bed and for dropping treats but see his walks they are useless.

I’m so glad things are back to normal. In between loads of laundry Granny loved on me all day yesterday and took me for two good trots. Gave me my confidence back to fight for my rights with the old Grey Gizz.

When Granny was away we totally ignored each other the Gizz and me just mooched around feeling neglected.

Now she’s back we have a renewed interest to fight over her and get stuck in to chewing once more.

Did you see that moon. Crazy big!

Yesterday it helped us as Ma had to get me out at six before she headed off for Kairos Day 4. Can you see me in the pic?

Plodding around the yard in the dark is no fun for humans. We canines get by just fine with our nose but our peeps need a little light.

Ma said she really enjoyed her early morning trips. The moon in one direction and the sunrise in the rear view mirror.

I’m glad this is all over though till the next time because I got clean bored staring out the window.

Big moons don’t beat big walks.

Many souls make the weekends work not just those who go to the prison.

Thousands of people sign up to pray for the participants.

When the ladies see the huge chain that is made with all the names and times of those praying people they just cannot believe it.

Even though he was at home Dad joined in the chain by writing all the prayer strips for the people Ma recruited.

This is one of the most impactful and enduring steps in the Kairos community. Once seen never forgotten!

Throughout the weekend lots of delicious food is served to the ladies. This is such a treat for them.

Many people contribute to this by sponsoring meal tickets and making donations. In Kairos we call this Green Agape (Love).

People can sponsor one or more meals and their meal ticket is placed on the table so the participant can see who was caring for them.

Donations also pay for supplies and for the crosses and bibles that are given to each person when they reach Day 4 and « graduate »

For this weekend our Green Agape was also used to purchase cookie dough that was baked into 2600 Dozen chocolate chip cookies on site! That’s an awesome amount of cookies more than 30000!!!!!

Enough for each person at the prison to be given a dozen as a little token of love.
