Greeting passionate public it’s your very own Princess PIT!

I’ve reinstated the prefix as I’m now convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that I’m of Royal blood.

The past days have been filled with celebrations at the palace and at the tearoom.

I was forced to commune with the Gizz as Granny was having her Garden Party. Here’s just some of the hats including Auntie Paula’s that’s by far the best.

Meanwhile, one of my relatives took tea with the Queen while.

Ma brought flowers and treats home.

Alas the treats were all bite sized morsels unlike that sandwich the Queen keeps in her purse!

She must have eaten it as she was sufficiently fortified to make a public appearance just now.

Granny celebrated by eating a plateful of turnips.

Man that stuff stinks.

I wouldn’t waste a wink begging for that!

Left it to the Gizz. He’s such an old lick.

I’ll stick with the Queen and the Bear and their marmalade sandwiches.

Do you think I’d get on with Corgis?

First, apologies for the mix up with our numbering system. Did you think you were in a time warp?

It’s no excuse but we are getting a little anxious about Memorial.

She has not made a reappearance since Monday. A bit like the Queen. We’re worried about her Majesty too. Prince Charles looked very tense yesterday don’t you think?

Maybe Memorial has a little nursery in the woods and her Mom is tending to her there but we would appreciate just seeing her for a moment.

I’m checking back and front. We’d even sacrifice the sedum to see her little face again.

Ma nearly had a seizure yesterday when she read the local neighborhood feed.

Mercifully when we opened up for details we were relieved to read this incident was several miles away.

Hoping today brings both gals back in the picture.

There are days when I’m glad to have Jaws around for company. She can be entertaining but don’t tell her or she’ll get more puffed up.

When Ma leaves at 9:00 and doesn’t come home till 6:00 it can be a bit boring with Dad.

While it might look like it she hasn’t found a new man.

She says she’s networking for the good of her business.

Yesterday she went with Auntie Paula to the chamber of commerce ribbon cutting for the Mary Ellen Withrop room at the Marion Historical Society.

There was a great turnout and the famous lady was there being as gracious as every. She’d donated a lot of great treasures including her inauguration outfit.

This building also houses the popcorn museum which is really cool. She got some fresh made but ate it all. Never thinks of me my Ma!

If you live local you should visit and then come see Ma for tea. See she’s teaching me that at every occasion you got to market your magic!

The day before Ma was preaching at the Marion Womens Club about the history and health benefits of tea.

I’m thinking of taking to drinking it myself.

Could be quite refreshing after a round in the ring with PITS.

As you can imagine we were up early to see the start of the weekend’s festivities to honor our Queen.

Her Majesty looked absolutely beautiful as she came to the balcony of the palace to see her troops. It was such a good decision to have her cousin The Duke of Kent accompany her.

Hope you who watched also took note that at the trooping of the color my cousin Seamus was out front as the head honcho of the Irish Guards.

Now I admit he is slightly taller than myself but we have that same noble look.

You can see without doubt we are of the same lineage. s

I stood to attention too when I saw the Queen and did you notice that future King George was watching.

His sister Charlotte looks so like her great Grandma another mini-me moment.

Do you ever wish you were able to be somewhere but you know you can’t.

At this minute Ma has a great hankering to be in London.

There is so much excitement going on about the Queen’s Jubilee.

Millions of people are making little versions of the Monarch in her different outfits. Some must be dog lovers as more than a few corgis have been knitted too.

I’m not into needle work but believe some Pitty’s might be. They are all nuts that breed.

We’re planning a little event at the Tearoom and for this Ma was practicing making jam pennies yesterday.

They are the Queen’s favorite and she wants to get them right.

I helped her with quality control as always and then had a siesta while Ma watched the new documentary called the Unseen Queen on YouTube.

From what I saw between shut eyes those Royals really love their puppies.

No wonder her Majesty has had such a long life and still looks so beautiful and happy.

We’re sure you’re all waiting for an update on baby Memorial. Well she lay in the same spot till around noon and then decided to get up and move to the woods.

The sun was hot so she probably needed shade. We didn’t see her move but our neighbor was working in his yard and saw the action.

Her Mom was back feeding on our honeysuckle hedge close to the woods late afternoon so we believe all is well. We haven’t seen them this morning and don’t know if there was a second baby but like a good deer hound I’m keeping an eye on things.

Last night the bro was busy. He came home with a load of steak and sausages and corn on Sunday night and said we were having a big Memorial Day cookout.

Now the bro does not do things by half. There was enough to feed a small army.

He went the whole hog and marinaded the steak like a pro.

All this grilling business is very primordial.

It’s also very tasty and the bro is a good sharer.

PIT helped him without any major destruction.

You will note the mountain of outdoor footwear in these pics. They have been elevated to ensure PIT doesn’t snack on them.

It’s record salad weather today but the bro is grilling again.

I’ll take it. May attract Memorial back for a visit.

Great excitement at the ranch this morning. We have a new arrival.

Ma and me got up at six thirty and just as we were about to step out for my first job we saw a deer in the back yard.

Funny thing was she was standing rock still like a statue. That’s when we noticed she had a big belly so we thought she was going to give birth.

We heard a nose like a cat crying. Strange!

We came back in and watched the doe as we thought she needed her privacy and that’s when she moved.

Ma I said « we need to check this out ».

We discovered she’d had her baby.

In fact we think she’s had another somewhere in the woods behind us because she’s walking between the two areas.

We texted Auntie Marsha as her hubby is a farmer to ask what to do. Jim said leave them alone the Mana knows what to do and she watching to make sure the baby is safe.

When we went out for our walk the Mama followed us to make sure we weren’t going near her baby.

When we came back we brought Auntie Liz and our friends PJ and Eddie to see the baby and again Mama Deer came past to warn us not to get too close.

The baby looks so cute and healthy and even PITS was quiet around her.

We are feeling all gooey and happy and hope you like our new family member and the name we’ve given her!

Greetings my priceless public. It’s PITS here. I’ve decided to change my name. Pretty Pitty Princess is way too sweet for an ado like me.

All the rappers have short names and I’m into rap so PITS it shall be.

My handy work on the screens has been modified by humans and PIT resistance mesh has now been introduced.

The door to the porch has been done in the durable too. Cost Grandpa a small fortune so he hates me more than ever if that’s possible. I do love a mean man like PIT PAWPA!!

The old Gizzard is on sentry duty so I have yet to test the indestructible claims. I have no doubt if he’d get his great snout out of the way I could recreate that opening in an instant.

In the meantime I have two new projects underway.

First, I’m removing the dark varnish from the stairs. It’s so passé and am replacing it with that weathered look.

As you see I have already advanced with this BOHO business very well on the door to my private residence. It’s really very nicely distressed don’t you think.

Anyway on to soft furnishings. I’m shredding anything that loosely resembles cushions. They are out. They can be harbingers of bugs and odors and have no place in modern habitats. We need a clean look!

See all that watching if HGTV has paid off.

Not only has Granny got a structural engineer on hand she got an interior designer too.

Until next time my peeps when I’ll be back with my next project.

You can tell it’s been a great week at the Tearoom when your Ma jumps out of bed as soon as she wakes up at 6:30 and starts baking.

See she’d run out of scones.

So quick as a wink we had our eyes fixed on flour.

By 7:12 our second batch was in and the first was cooling.

Flour is not tasty in itself. Only Mega eats that and no doubt will clean the floor when she is released from the pit she shares with the bro but it’s what flour yields that interests me.

See first there is the teeny tiny scone Ma makes just for me to do my quality check.

More importantly there is the egg.

She scrambles it for me in the microwave and then gives me something to look forward to all day as she pops it in the fridge for my dinner tonight.

We were done by 7:26. Now onwards for our walk and then some happy dreaming.

Ma has a real penchant for snacks when she is watching TV. She has them every evening even though each morning she vows she’ll quit.

This is great because she is of an excessively generous nature and shares expect maybe the popcorn from Michigan that Auntie Paula brings which she eats all by herself.

When she is eating Jaws and I take our positions at her feet and gaze.

She always gives me first to be sure I don’t go for Mega’s throat in a fit of jealousy.

This morning cousin Krishna posted a truth that we shared. it was a timely reminder that we must stock up!

Miss Laura from around the corner also posted on a new frozen snack she is making for her fur babies to keep them quiet and occupied. Ma thought it looked good at first but then decided the demonic presence would just eat the whole thing rubber holder and all so we are back to basics.

It’s so important to have a supply of munchies available for Friday night which is usually when we have pizza. They are an essential accompaniment to the fizz and the « My Lottery Dream Home » binge watch.

See the knowledge that these are available ensures some pizza is put away and that always results in a very tasty start to a day for me. Here’s a pick I took yesterday of last weeks that had reached the glorious stage of « no human can eat this anymore»

Those of you in business circles will know this is called strategic planning I have another term for it Scout Smart!
