There are some things you just couldn’t make up.

Take this morning.

As usual when the clock struck 7:30 we went up to the bro’s room to wake the sleeping princess make that demon!

She wasn’t yapping yet because she hasn’t adjusted to springing forward.

As we were coming back down the stairs we saw the beautiful sunrise and all the tracks of the aircraft coming in and going out of Columbus.

Ma tried to take a pic of what we saw while Mega munched.

It was useless though so she had to go outside to capture it better.

Still it wasn’t great so when we met Auntie Denise we asked her to take a pic too.

Now can you see something very special in this pic, apart from Ma and me and Mega?

Look at that Z

Putin may be painting Z on his armored vehicles for who knows what reason.

We reckon though that the big man upstairs painted this one to show that Z is for Zelenesky and that he’s on his side! Where better to paint the Z but in the SKY!

The event last night went great but it kept Ma out real late and I was bursting by the time she got home.

It was most appropriately named since it is well and truly freezing here.

Auntie Paula was the star of the show.

Ma showed me the pics and video just now and for sure she looked every bit the flamingo dancer.

She did the salsa.

Mega and I discussed and agree we too could be dancers too!

She can do all the jive moves. She can point her paws perfectly but don’t tell her I said that.

I’ll do something a little more refined like a waltz since I’m so straight backed and upright.

It’s just a shame we canines are excluded from so many gatherings even though we are quite capable of sitting quietly. We could add such value.

I am going to pray for inclusion.

What did I tell you? Winter wasn’t over when we hit 74F (23C) last weekend.

This morning the white stuff has returned and with the wind chill it feels like 6F (-14C).

Doesn’t matter the scale that’s a huge swing.

It’s called a BOMB Cyclone system.

I call it ENOUGH!

One interesting thing about snow is it gives you a chance to study the dance steps of the deer.

The whole herd must have been in our front yard quick stepping this morning.

It’s got Ma in the mood for a big fundraiser she is going to tonight. She says it feels like its the holidays again!

The event is called Turn Up the Heat and is organized by the Women’s Club of Marion. You have to get dressed up all fancy so she is very excited as she hasn’t had a long dress on for about five years!

It’s sort of like Dancing with the Stars or for you Europeans Strictly Come Dancing.

One of the dancers is Auntie Paula. I wanted to go but Ma said it’s for humans only.

She’s promised though to take lots of pics and show me so I’ll share those with you tomorrow.

In the meantime I hope she enjoys the festivities. I’ll chill inside and ignore the niece as best I can and watch the wildlife and make Dad mad barking at anything that moves!

I’m getting so grown up. Quite the Precocious Pretty Pitty Princess!

Granny has recognized my maturity and has got me involved in brainstorming. See she is looking for new ideas for the tearoom menu.

She asked me what I think is idiot proof and easy so I said kibble.

See it’s really really yummy. Easy to eat too. She wouldn’t need to wash all those knives and forks. The people could just pop it.

She said she’d take a look at it.

My uncle ruled it out said humans are like him and Grandpa they like sweet stuff that melts in your mouth.

If you have any ideas can you please send them to me.

It would get me some brownie points with Granny and maybe an extra few treats too.

Milk bones are finger foods aren’t they!

See I knew all I had to do was think hard enough and I’d make her menu mighty.

Well I wasn’t expecting this at all but yesterday morning, even though she had to leave early, Ma took me to work with her.

We had to do the shopping first then drop off some paperwork and then get ready for her customers.

It started snowing on our way and it was those big flakes like you get in a snow globe.

We paid our respects to President and Mrs Harding. Their tomb has been all cleaned and polished but we didn’t get out as it was a bit slippery.

Of course as you know I’m not allowed inside but Ma did bring me literally a crust!

She also let me out for a bathroom break. I made sure to mark at both front and side doors just so other puppies know this is MY PLACE.

On the way home the sun was splitting the skies so we trotted round the tomb of the good President and hundreds of others. We’re on the look out for Barr’s and Gibson’s as we are sure someone from our family must be here. We just feel so at home in this town.

When we got home we got great news.

Our little place is in the official Ohio State Tourist Guide.

That’s what you call a great end to a great day. I’m sure it’s because they know I visit that they gave this mention. After all I’m famous! Something of a celebrity! Right?

I’m back. The thing has had enough airspace. Wouldn’t she give you the willies. Vain, outspoken little rascal.

She needs to take a page out of my Moms book. She is so modest and reserved!!!!!!

This morning we woke up at six. Ma has a busy day ahead so even before getting her OJ she jumped in the shower.

I don’t get this human business of washing themselves all the time.

Regardless they do it.

She then starts choosing her clothes. That’s another problem we canines don’t have. With a bod like my Ma’s though it’s best to put them on.

Today she surfaced a rave from the grave.

It’s a rugby shirt she bought years ago at the Titanic center in Belfast.

She had almost forgotten she had it. Somehow this morning it resurfaced and she is all happy because she loves it.

It’s like Antique Roadshow. We were watching one a few days ago that was filmed in Northern Ireland. You can tell because there are so many redheads.

They found a huge diamond on that show.

The rugby shirt is not quite in the same league but it’s given her that feel good start to the day.

Who knows what we’ll find later. I might do a bit of digging myself! Maybe turn up a big rawhide!

Well who else could it be but your very own precious and pretty Princess Pitty on this International Women’s Day.

It was imperative that I stood tall to project my position and that I took my pen and put it to paper to share with you all my first annual perspectives on what it takes to be a phenomenal Pitty success.

You need to understand that men are stupid.

You don’t need to listen to a word they say!

You need to face them head on.

You need to be fearless when confronted by their challenges

You need to be faster than they can even imagine

You need to be kind to yourself also

You need to never stop dreaming

Most importantly of all even if people can’t stand you you must love and be kind to them and try to get close especially if they are ancient.

Eventually they will accept you and you can all relax in comfort and bask on the pillow of Pitty success.

There aren’t I just the best Princess in the whole wide world and the smartest too and don’t I deserve a very big celebration! Make that BONES!

Big thunder storm here this morning. Woke Ma and me up at 5:15.

We decided to just lie in bed and snuggle a while and pretend we are in a hotel on vacation.

Ma got her phone and took a look at the Facebook feed.

As always cousin Krishna from India, who feeds us with funnies, was reading my mind.

Ma was having similar thoughts albeit with a slightly different focus.

We set ourselves a get up time of 6:30 so once we’d finished with Facebook we checked in on Pudgy Picker

She makes us laugh. That’s what we all need on a soggy Monday.

Greetings dear fans it’s your very own Pitty Princess publishing today. Scooby said I had to take this post as the number was most suited to my position in the heavenly hierarchy.

I don’t get it but he says it’s a revelation!

Granny and I are all set for a great day ahead.

We are counting the minutes till the start of a new show.

It’s set in Castle Howard in Yorkshire but is made for NBC USA.

Granny says anything set at the Castle will be class like her all time fav book and series from way back when.

Granny is planning on pretending she is a Princess too.

Of course no pretending is needed on my part.

We are going to oodle the talent. Granny hopes someone looks like Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. This is her current choice.

I kinda like this hunk. You could sink your teeth in him nicely. Plenty of meat!

I’m trying out different looks incase he has a hound dog that I might attract.

Don’t forget to tune in chicks at eight tonight and tell me what you think is my best look.

Love y’all PP

You will not believe this but today in Ohio we are going to get into the 70s. Might even break a record!

Now we are not stupid enough to believe that we’re done with winter just yet but this little taste of what lies ahead sure is sweet.

Ma is already dreaming of soaking in swimming pools.

I’m thinking of a drive up to the lake for a look at the lighthouse.

Sometimes the hope of what lies ahead is almost as good as the real deal.

That’s why spring is so special.

You see the tips of those little daffodils and it just fills your heart with joy.

The warmth of today will speed them on their way and give them a boost too.

In the meantime a good walk this afternoon is guaranteed. I may get a tad hot with my fur still on but won’t say a word. Even the niece won’t annoy me to much today.
