Well I wasn’t expecting this at all but yesterday morning, even though she had to leave early, Ma took me to work with her.

We had to do the shopping first then drop off some paperwork and then get ready for her customers.

It started snowing on our way and it was those big flakes like you get in a snow globe.

We paid our respects to President and Mrs Harding. Their tomb has been all cleaned and polished but we didn’t get out as it was a bit slippery.

Of course as you know I’m not allowed inside but Ma did bring me literally a crust!

She also let me out for a bathroom break. I made sure to mark at both front and side doors just so other puppies know this is MY PLACE.

On the way home the sun was splitting the skies so we trotted round the tomb of the good President and hundreds of others. We’re on the look out for Barr’s and Gibson’s as we are sure someone from our family must be here. We just feel so at home in this town.

When we got home we got great news.

Our little place is in the official Ohio State Tourist Guide.

That’s what you call a great end to a great day. I’m sure it’s because they know I visit that they gave this mention. After all I’m famous! Something of a celebrity! Right?

I’m back. The thing has had enough airspace. Wouldn’t she give you the willies. Vain, outspoken little rascal.

She needs to take a page out of my Moms book. She is so modest and reserved!!!!!!

This morning we woke up at six. Ma has a busy day ahead so even before getting her OJ she jumped in the shower.

I don’t get this human business of washing themselves all the time.

Regardless they do it.

She then starts choosing her clothes. That’s another problem we canines don’t have. With a bod like my Ma’s though it’s best to put them on.

Today she surfaced a rave from the grave.

It’s a rugby shirt she bought years ago at the Titanic center in Belfast.

She had almost forgotten she had it. Somehow this morning it resurfaced and she is all happy because she loves it.

It’s like Antique Roadshow. We were watching one a few days ago that was filmed in Northern Ireland. You can tell because there are so many redheads.

They found a huge diamond on that show.

The rugby shirt is not quite in the same league but it’s given her that feel good start to the day.

Who knows what we’ll find later. I might do a bit of digging myself! Maybe turn up a big rawhide!

Well who else could it be but your very own precious and pretty Princess Pitty on this International Women’s Day.

It was imperative that I stood tall to project my position and that I took my pen and put it to paper to share with you all my first annual perspectives on what it takes to be a phenomenal Pitty success.

You need to understand that men are stupid.

You don’t need to listen to a word they say!

You need to face them head on.

You need to be fearless when confronted by their challenges

You need to be faster than they can even imagine

You need to be kind to yourself also

You need to never stop dreaming

Most importantly of all even if people can’t stand you you must love and be kind to them and try to get close especially if they are ancient.

Eventually they will accept you and you can all relax in comfort and bask on the pillow of Pitty success.

There aren’t I just the best Princess in the whole wide world and the smartest too and don’t I deserve a very big celebration! Make that BONES!

Big thunder storm here this morning. Woke Ma and me up at 5:15.

We decided to just lie in bed and snuggle a while and pretend we are in a hotel on vacation.

Ma got her phone and took a look at the Facebook feed.

As always cousin Krishna from India, who feeds us with funnies, was reading my mind.

Ma was having similar thoughts albeit with a slightly different focus.

We set ourselves a get up time of 6:30 so once we’d finished with Facebook we checked in on Pudgy Picker

She makes us laugh. That’s what we all need on a soggy Monday.

Greetings dear fans it’s your very own Pitty Princess publishing today. Scooby said I had to take this post as the number was most suited to my position in the heavenly hierarchy.

I don’t get it but he says it’s a revelation!

Granny and I are all set for a great day ahead.

We are counting the minutes till the start of a new show.

It’s set in Castle Howard in Yorkshire but is made for NBC USA.

Granny says anything set at the Castle will be class like her all time fav book and series from way back when.

Granny is planning on pretending she is a Princess too.

Of course no pretending is needed on my part.

We are going to oodle the talent. Granny hopes someone looks like Colin Firth as Mr Darcy. This is her current choice.

I kinda like this hunk. You could sink your teeth in him nicely. Plenty of meat!

I’m trying out different looks incase he has a hound dog that I might attract.

Don’t forget to tune in chicks at eight tonight and tell me what you think is my best look.

Love y’all PP

You will not believe this but today in Ohio we are going to get into the 70s. Might even break a record!

Now we are not stupid enough to believe that we’re done with winter just yet but this little taste of what lies ahead sure is sweet.

Ma is already dreaming of soaking in swimming pools.

I’m thinking of a drive up to the lake for a look at the lighthouse.

Sometimes the hope of what lies ahead is almost as good as the real deal.

That’s why spring is so special.

You see the tips of those little daffodils and it just fills your heart with joy.

The warmth of today will speed them on their way and give them a boost too.

In the meantime a good walk this afternoon is guaranteed. I may get a tad hot with my fur still on but won’t say a word. Even the niece won’t annoy me to much today.

There was a beautiful sunrise just now when Ma took me out for my first job.

She’s so thoughtful and knows I can’t enjoy my food on a full bladder.

As we admired the sky Ma was telling me that the blue it has at this time of day is one of her favorite colors. Deep yet bright. Hard to capture, a pale ink is maybe the best description.

This got us to thinking about the piece of space trash that’s about to hit the moon. Everyone is saying it will be of no consequence and will only create another creator. I’m not so sure. That moon has a big impact on our moods you know.

There’s so much garbage up in the sky now there’s even an app for your phone to let you look at it.

We don’t intend to get it as we have enough trash to deal with at home!

Dad nearly had a stroke yesterday morning when Ma was getting ready. She’d left the monster and me to play (make that fight) but jaws sneaked off to the bro’s room. He’d gone to work so she got busy.

She’s so stupid though she brought her handiwork down to tease me. That’s when Dad exploded.

This may at one time have been a token of love but it’s well and truly legless now.

Man I was so happy yesterday.

It was a Goldilocks day. Not too hot not too cold just right for me to go to work.

Around 10:00 am when Ma was ready to roll she said those sweetest of words. “Let’s go Scoob!

Off we went into the big blue yonder.

I’m not allowed inside the Tearoom so I have to sit in the car but it’s a great ride there and back.

Add to that Ma brought me out half a scone that someone left on their plate about 2:30 to give me a little booster.

Better still, since the sun was splitting the skies she took me for a trot all the way around Marion’s huge graveyard.

Today I’m not in luck as the mother thinks it’s too cold for me to sit in the car for too long. I’d be fine but I’m not arguing as I know there’ll be many more just right days ahead for us to be together.

One of my favorite spots in our house is the sofa by the window that looks out on the back yard.

I quite literally hang out there waiting for Ma to finish her coffee in the morning before we release the dragon and go for our walk.

I see lots of things and drive Dad mad by barking at them. He shouts at me to shut up but all I’m doing is informing him that there are trespassers on our property. Sometimes he is an ungrateful old geezer.

I also enjoy a bit of bird watching.

It’s starting to get interesting now as they are nesting.

I’m still am a bit of an amateur unlike my uncle Sandy. He is such a great observer of wildlife.

His photos of birds are amazing.

Just look at these pics he took yesterday.

They are stunning in their precision.

Don’t you think he should do an exhibit.

Yesterday Dad and Ma and me went for a drive. It was so great to get away from that pain in the neck. She was left with the bro.

While we were out Ma decided to get some pet supplies; food and poop bags. She handles everything for us my Mom the ins and the outs.

While in the pet aisle she cracked and got yet another new retractable leash. This one is meant to retain small ponies.

Anyway when she got it home she took a big decision.

She said to me “you know Scooby that skitter gets all the new things but this is yours”

So I am chuffed. At last I’m getting some of recognition I deserve for my patience and tolerance of the terrorist.

Of course the dark demon was determined she should have it.

I held my ground and you will be delighted to know I won!

Blue for the boy! Mom choose well!
